This is my favorite hidden treasure. I absolutely love the Sopes, tacos, and quesadillas. I won't dare go to taco Bell ever again in life. You won't be disappointed here. Everything is prepared fresh and to perfection
As an American raised in Mexico, this is about as authentic as it comes. The ladies working the kitchen are incredible, friendly. They make tortillas by hand for all dishes. Highly recommended. Also great place to pick up snacks and antojitos.Antonio's.
Edit: don't go at noon! It's crowded! Which is great but the wait is long. Come early or late at 1:30 pm. The food still fire! Edit: the quesadilla is huge and tasty Edit: try the flautas! Delicious! My gawd, I am from Mexico and I've tried tacos around this area, but these are absolutely delicious, they are true to the original flavors (except pastor). The hand made tortillas are a must though it is true that it looks a bit untidy I am willing to look this over because of the food. They also have aguas frescas, and a lot of other products that you will find in a Mexican mini Mart.
This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant! I got the torta al pastor and it was delicious.
Mexican food done right. Very tasty. If you don't speak Spanish, be prepared to point at things on the menu. They have aguas frescas that change from day to day. Otherwise grab a drink from the store it sits in.
I moved here from Denver over a year ago and have been searching for a place that has authentic menudo that could compare to the authentic Mexican food in Denver every place I have been to has been a disaster and most of them did not even know what menudo was??? Until today I was referred to El Viejo Jalisco AND LET ME TELL YOU WHAT THEIR MENUDO I BELIEVE IS SOME OF THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD... Delicious
First time having authentic tacos!!! And I was blown away. The food is cooked right in front of you if you sit at the bar. Everything is made from scratch even down to the tortillas. The tamales!!!!! CHEFS KISS.. ILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING TO TRY OTHER DISHES.
Hole in the wall, this place is SO GOOD . I LOVE THIS ONE
