Great breakfast (yogurt + extra fruit) and happy hour (cocktails and ceviche). Staff were so friendly. Great bartender. Wifi was spotty and certain times the service was hit and miss for attentiveness, but a nice place.
We tried a few dishes here, and overall had a nice experience! Heirloom Tomato Toast - The topping was a bit too sour for my taste. (6/10) Spicy Shrimp - Absolutely amazing! Packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. (10/10) Dinner Rolls with Honey Butter - Rolls were a little hard. If they had been warm and fresh, the butter would have melted inside and tasted even better. (7/10) Caesar Salad - Enjoyed it, though I feel some cheese instead of cauliflower would have made it perfect. (8/10) Shrimp Scampi - Taste was outstanding, rich buttery sauce, but portion size was smaller than expected. (10/10) Special mention to our waitress-she was super attentive and kept checking on us, which made the experience even better.
We reserved a table for our anniversary, the wait to get seated took a minute. Although when we got to the patio the atmosphere was great! The staff were decent. The food was yummy, I would say a small menu but very good on the dishes they provide. We got the pork belly it was great! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to a friend it’s the most fancy place in the county.
First of all our waiter (René) was attentive and personable, making for a great experience! The food was delicious and plentiful. We split an entree (Roasted Chicken) and had the Goat Cheese and the meatballs. Lori said the Goat Cheese shareable plate was the best she's ever had. I would agree. We were also able to enjoy a beautiful sunset under the warmth of their heaters and fireflies on a cool January evening. We'll be back!
We went there with a large group and made a reservation. We were seated right away. The only seating option for a group of 7 was outside on the roof. They do have portacool AC outside to help keep you cool, but it does kinda blow on you as you are eating. We turned it so it was facing away from the table slightly, also the sun was setting, so I would recommend bringing sunglasses. The food and drinks were great, they also have a small kids menu available upon request. The kid options were Mac and cheese, a burger and chicken. The burger and fries was a good kid option. I ordered the shrimp scampi, it was delicious. The Mostly sunny drink was also very good.
Service was great, food was good, now really something to brag about, but still good. Outdoor sitting was nice. The wait time wasnt too bad, but I did make reservations.
Amazing food and atmosphere. The waiter was kind but had a few hiccups but it happens to everyone no biggie. Ended up having 2 extra people in group and Elderwood accommodated and wrote a special happy birthday on my Mother in laws dessert. Eggs Benedict and hot vanilla latte is delicious here!!
We have eaten at the Elderwood in the past and found it overpriced and underwhelming. We hadn’t been back in a couple of years but heard that they had made some changes so we decided to try it again. Our most recent visit was a much better experience. The ambiance was nice as usual but the food was much better than it used to be. The menu had a broader selection than before and the quality and flavors were a welcomed improvement. The bar has great drinks and a great selection of zero proof cocktails if you are not a big alcohol drinker. The service was pleasant as usual and with the new menu the Elderwood is now one of our favorite restaurants in the area. If you haven’t been in a while I’d recommend giving them another try. I can easily see us becoming regulars here.
