Frankie's

I ordered the grilled cheese and loaded baked potato soup. The grilled cheese was delicious, but the bottom breads became soggy very fast. The soup was ok- I had to add salt and pepper.

New owner is making lots of improvements to building and menu. Prices are fair and food is prepared well. Frankie's just catered a meal for 120 people for us. They were so easy to work with. We sat down and designed the menu for the banquet. They made good suggestions. When the evening came, they were set up on time, had the appetizers ready on time. They kept the food line well stocked for dinner and had some fun desserts for our Mexican themed party. They left the facilty very clean when they left. I can't express how well they did. This was our first time with them but it will not be our last. Did I mention how good the food was? It was really really good. Lots of comments form the attendees.

Friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Good food, I love the whitefish! Quick! Offer some alcoholic beverages if you are so inclined. Very affordable.

We like Frankie's because there's a lot of variety and the food is good. We enjoy eating off the breakfast menu. Most recently, I had the el poncho quesadilla. It was delicious. My daughter likes to get the kid's meal pancake, shaped like Mickey Mouse. Casual, nothing fancy, but solid. Service is usually good too. They have a varied kid's menu, including breakfast items. The decor could use updating, but it's clean and efficient.

We took a side trip on our way home from Shipshewana. Found this little gem called Frankie's. Food was excellent. The pizza was very tasty and the crust was perfect. The portions are large and the price is reasonable. Friday night is all you can eat fish. Frankie's the 70 mi from my home but I'll make the trip back just to drive the fish.

I visited frankie's today while traveling regionally for work. The staff was extremely welcoming, and the facilities clean. Unfortunately, my burger was delayed due to an error on their behalf, the wrong person picked up my food and gave it away. When my plate was delivered with a delay, i was informed that the meal was on the house. I will say being in business myself, many times honor is earned according to how you respond. We can't always control every situation, true character is shown based upon how we act. Making sure the customer experience is intact is an honorable thing. The food itself is great! The cash tip to waitress will make up for the free meal. I will return, and look forward to paying full price soon. Local manager/owners obviously operate with integrity
