The food and service was very good we had the Twisted BLT, Fried Chicken Sandwich. With sweet potato fries. There portions of food were so large. That you would have planning to share. If you're passing through and you're pulling a trailer, there is plenty of parking around back. It's a great little place to stop for a good lunch afternoon meal. We will be stopping in again. Don't know why it took me so long to stop in. :( Guess I'm always in a hurry :)
Stopped here for lunch. My daughter (17) had the salmon with fries, green beans, and a roll. I chose the Mahi Mahi with sweet potato fries, fried okra, and texas toast. Both fish are served on a bed of rice. We were not prepared for such large portions! I had no complaints with my food and even enjoyed the sweet tea. My teenager loved everything on her plate except the roll and green beans; the roll seemed steamed on the outside but dry on the inside and the green beans weren't seasoned to her liking. Both fish were completely devoured, along with the rice and we took both sets of fries as a road snack. Overall, I would give more stars if I could and we both highly recommend stopping in for a visit. Just make sure you bring your appetite!
Great homemade food fast! Great Service great atmosphere grateful families and business business. If you’re traveling through And be sure and stop you’ll love it. Best homemade chicken strips I’ve ever had bar none. Good catfish and good grilled shrimp everything is good great down home sweet to eat with lemon! Give it a try
1st time stopping in after passing by hundreds of times. Great food, hot, quick, friendly staff. Saw some beautiful desserts I'll have to check out next time.
Locally owned, good food, nice folks. The restaurant is about a 30 minute ride through the countryside from my house. My wife & I frequent this establishment about once a month and have no plans to change this habit.
First time eating here and it was pretty good. The bang bang shrimp was delicious and some of the best I have had. The burger was average..it was good and tasty..the bun wasn't super fresh tasting tho. All in all a good experience and would return if in the area but not necessarily make a special trip. The service was good and the restaurant was clean and has a good vibe.
I was headed from Little Rock up to Mountain home and decided to stop at grumpy‘s. The staff is very helpful. I got me a to go biscuits and gravy and the number one omelette. It was outstanding. I will pass through there again in a few weeks and stop and get me another load of breakfast.
I loved Grumpy's! It was my 1st time there but won't be my last. I've driven past it many times & the parking lot has always been full but this time, my friend & I said, "We're going to Grumpy's Getaway!" No regrets. We both loved it & had so much food we needed to-go boxes. We'll both go back!!
