I had an amazing dining experience at Heaven on a Fork as always . The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every bite truly lived up to the restaurant’s name. What made the experience even more special was the outstanding service. Morteza and Ehsan were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional staff. I highly recommend Heaven on a Fork and will definitely be coming back!
The food here is very good! Highly recommend. We went as a large party and all the foods we got were delicious. The koobideh is juicy and tasty. The fesenjoon was perfect. The chicken kabob was also very good and juicy, not dry and overcooked like most Iranian kabob places. They also bring fresh bread with appetizers which is rly good. Someone else got the kabob bowl and it was rly good variety of meats, I got to try the lamb shank too which was perfect. The only dish that was not great was the chicken with bone in , it was too sour and the skin of the chicken was kind of coming off. It was not my favorite but rly everything else was rly good. Someone else in our group got the lamb shank which looked sooo good. I didn’t try it but looked rly good. Would def come back here !
One of the best Persian restaurants in OC! Their food was very good! The space was cozy and their service was great! Their Koobideh, shishlik, and shish kabob was great, their doogh is good, too! I didn’t like their Joojeh as much, but overall their food and service was pretty good! I definitely recommend this restaurant!
Everything was incredibly flavorful and the portions were generous. The Koobideh Kabab was full of rich taste and the Barg was my favorite. The Tahchin had that comforting homemade quality that reminds you of a family recipe passed down through generations. The staff treated us with genuine care and made the whole visit even better. I will definitely be coming back.
Came here for lunch and it was amazing. The decor is modern and chic, service was excellent. We started with their homemade flatbread and masto-musir (yogurt with shallots). Then, the soltani (get the barg medium well for optimal flavor) with half-rice and salad while my parents shared the Ali Nazik (eggplant with veggies and koobideh kabob). I only stopped so I could save room for dessert: faloodeh and Persian ice cream. 11/10 recommend and will definitely come back.
Amazing food! Everything was delicious and high quality. We went there twice and couldn’t resist ordering the Lamb Neck both times- it was tender, flavorful, and absolutely perfect. The Kase Kebab and Tahchin were also great. Service was friendly, polite, and attentive. Highly recommend this place!
Tried Heaven on a Fork for the first time and had a great experience overall. The lamb kabobs (medium-rare) were the standout — juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The beef koobideh was also delicious: soft, flavorful, and really well-balanced. The chicken koobideh wasn’t my favorite — it had a noticeable parsley aftertaste that didn’t quite work for me, even after adding lemon and sumac. I also had the Cornish hen, which was excellent, and the saffron basmati rice was fragrant and paired beautifully with everything. Definitely coming back for the lamb, beef koobideh, and Cornish hen!
This is one of the best Persian restaurants in Southern California. Not only is the food absolutely amazing, but the atmosphere and service truly set it apart. Everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Mr. Morteza, the manager, is exceptionally kind and attentive. He takes the time to care for guests, offering thoughtful recommendations and explaining the ingredients and flavors with genuine passion. Highly recommended. Once you try it, you will likely become a regular—just like I did.
