An Absolute Gem at Sherway! I had an incredible dining experience at Joey Sherway recently and can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, but the food and service truly stole the show. The menu has some standout items that you simply have to try: • Lettuce Wraps: These were the perfect start—fresh, crunchy, and packed with flavor. • Sushi Cones: Incredibly fresh and beautifully presented; easily some of the best I’ve had. • Carbonara Udon with Teriyaki Chicken: This was the highlight of the night! Such a unique and delicious fusion dish. The creaminess of the udon paired perfectly with the savory teriyaki chicken. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and well-paced. It’s clear the team here cares about the guest experience. Whether you’re looking for a date night spot or a place to catch up with friends, Joey Sherway is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Joey at Sherway is my favourite location, despite living across from one. It's cozy, yet spacious and we didn't have to wait too long. Amy greeted our group with a big smile and a welcoming, warm demeanour. Our group was unfamiliar with the current menu and couldn’t find our old favourites, so we needed some time to peruse the menu. Amy was informative, patient, and helped us with our questions before ordering. We finally decided on: • Loaded Crispy Mashed Potatoes • Hibachi Wings • Steak & Sushi (we chose the seared salmon sushi) • Lobster Spaghetti • Ahi Tuna Club • Mediterranean Bowl • Individually Baked Apple Pie Everything was great and our group enjoyed the appetizers and their meals. Despite the restaurant being full, Amy was attentive and never let us feel forgotten. Thanks for everything and keep up the great work! We will be back again, soon.

The food and ambiance were both excellent—great flavours, beautifully presented dishes, and a stylish atmosphere that really elevates the dining experience. However, the service was quite slow. I completely understand that the restaurant gets busy, but even a quick follow-up or update would have gone a long way. Upon arrival, the host seated us near the door where it was noticeably cold. When I asked if we could be moved further inside, I was told there were no available tables—even though there was a corner section that looked completely empty. I was informed it “wasn’t open,” but there was no effort made to check with a manager or try to accommodate us. It felt like a very take-it-or-leave-it response, which was disappointing. Thankfully, our server later stepped in and was able to move us to a more comfortable spot, and we really appreciated that. Overall, the food and atmosphere are great, but the initial service and hosting experience definitely need improvement. With more attentiveness and flexibility at the front, this location could offer a much smoother and more welcoming experience.

I’m updating my previous review because I’m really glad I gave this place another chance. This visit was a completely different experience. The service was excellent! Our server was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. We ordered the peach bellini , a guinness, a tuna poke bowl, a mediterranean bowl, and a chicken club sandwich, and everything was delicious and well prepared, a solid 9/10. Coming at night made a big difference too; the vibe was much nicer and really elevated the experience. I’m happy I came back and will definitely be returning.

The dinner was absolutely delicious. The meat was incredibly tender and full of flavor —,you can really tell the food is prepared with care. We were pleasantly surprised by the large kids’ menu, and the small bonus from the staff for my daughter was such a thoughtful and lovely gesture The staff were very attentive, friendly, and welcoming. We did wait a little longer for our order, but the restaurant was very busy, which is completely understandable. It didn’t affect the overall experience at all ,the atmosphere was warm and cozy. Definitely a place we would love to come back to.

I had an amazing first time experience at Joey’s with my coworkers today. The food was delicious, especially the Lobster Spaghetti and the Hummus. It was very rich with lots of flavours and cooked perfectly. I also ordered the Peach Bellini which was also really good, it was balanced perfectly with a bit of sweetness and fruity flavours. I would like to recognize two of our waitresses today Aidan and Sarah who were phenomenal with offering exceptional service. I definitely will be coming back here soon to try more menu items in the future.

Visited this location at Sherway. I have been to the location at the Eaton Centre before. I made reservations and seating was quick. The service was attentive and friendly. They get 20 stars . The food is quite enjoyable. My filet mignon was cooked expertly to medium rare. My party all enjoyed their dishes as well . Be warned though. If you are seated by the windows looking outside to the mall like I was. It is bloody freezing . My goodness, it is so drafty here. I can see other customers put their jackets or sweaters on when they were seated here. So I dunno what can be done . You can request NOT to be seated by the windows…. Crazy cold here . This is my only dissatisfaction tonight. The desserts were pretty much standard fair. They were good not great or particularly memorable. No complaints though. All in all, I enjoyed my food, service and experience here folks . Happy eats everyone

Went to Joey’s with my boyfriend and his family tonight and we loved it, the atmosphere was beautiful and it seemed very busy but Fiona got us seated right away with no wait! Fiona made sure to check in on us throughout the meal and at the end and was so nice and attentive! Our server Emma was great as well! Service was fast and our plates were always cleared right away keeping our table nice and clean. We all shared the chicken lettuce wraps and truffle fries for appetizers and I had the Joey’s classic steak meal for dinner and it was all delicious! Will defiantly be back again
