Service was bit slow (they seemed understaffed) but the food was absolutely delicious! We shared the fried pickles & loved them. I got the mahi tacos, blackened, and my husband got the mixed basket. I wish I got a picture but we were quite hungry when it arrived. I took the tomatoes off the taco (didn’t know they came on there) and put the green sauce (maybe some kind of lime ranch?) they give you on the tacos and it was so good. My husband said next time he would get an oyster basket because the oysters in particular were so good. I tried one of the shrimp and it was delicious. The fries were perfectly seasoned and I ate every single one, which is atypical for me. The staff were kind & friendly and the bathrooms were clean. I also really recommend the cherry (diet) Pepsi, the cherry juice was delicious.
We love JCT’s, saw they were open yesterday when driving by so went in for one of their fish treats. Service was very fast. Server warm and friendly. The fish and slaw were delicious but I thought the fries were not up to standard…still a yummy lunch
We stopped in for lunch waiting for our Villa check-in. What a pleasant find. Had the crabcake sandwich that came with a roulade and a lobster sauce... Mix the two if you try and you won't regret it! Going to try and return to try the Maui BLT.
Super chill place with a pretty marsh view. Great casual spot to enjoy a mellow afternoon. Stopped for lunch and the peel and eat shrimp tasted great, soft shell crab was delicious, and the drinks were cold. Server was super nice and parking was fine.
Casual place to stop and grab a bite. This is the kind of place you want to hang out, relax, have a beer, and stuff yourself with fried seafood. The menu is pretty basic and most everything is fried but the food is pretty good. Hush puppies and shrimp were really good but the crab cake could’ve been better. The sides were generic just basic cole slaw and fries. The view is nice. Prices were reasonable.
Party of 5. We all enjoyed our lunches. Snapper sandwich special was especially nice. Onion rings were fantastic. Lots of sauces. Excellent Key Lime pie. Our server, Chandaa, was a pro: friendly and efficient. Rustic atmosphere, sitting at the edge of a marsh. Very Carolina. You’ll be glad you came.
Went in for lunch on a Sunday. It was late afternoon so not at all busy but I’m sure this place fills up on a Friday and Saturday evening. Love the vibes and location of the place. Lunch menu included plenty of options for entrees and appetizers. We enjoyed the fried pickles, buffalo wings, mahi BLT, and blackened snapper. The onion rings were my favorite item. Great restaurant option for those staying on Fripp Island that don’t want to travel back into Beaufort.
Food was wonderful. We had the Fried pickles as an appetizer and they were perfect. My husband had the Admiral's platter and he said it was prepared perfectly, he especially liked the oysters and the crab cake. I had the seafood Alfredo with shrimp and scallops and it was perfect I could have licked my plate. It was my husband's birthday so we split a piece of Keylime pie and it was very good. Service was great my tea glass was always full, I even got one to go without asking and the hubby has a fresh beer when needed. This was our first visit but would definitely return and would highly recommend to anyone looking for some good seafood.
