Amazing food! The weather was perfect for the patio and our server was great. We will definitely be returning. The chilaquiles verdes were so good as was the jugo verde.
Our favorite breakfast spot! La Sacrisita is a perfect combination of excellent food, great coffee, superior service, pleasant surroundings, and fair prices. I could list what we've tried here, but honestly, everything is great... the juices, the baking, and the breakfast plates are as good as it gets in SMA at these prices.
OMG, what a beautiful hidden gem! Our breakfast was amazing, and we’ll definitely be back next weekend because it was that good. Although the space is small, it comfortably accommodates the right amount of people. It’s both zen and quiet, with a water fountain that creates a beautifully relaxing atmosphere. Yves
Stopped in for a lunch for our annual visit. We found the charming outdoor spot three years ago by chance and were impressed by the selection and friendly helpful service. Chris served us our quiche and salmon-topped poached eggs today. He was fluent in English which isn't necessary but always makes it easier. The patio filled quickly after the noon hour. By the time we were done, there were families and young couples enjoying the ambience and yummy fare. Three well-behaved smaller dogs were also enjoying this hidden spot on Canal just steps uphill from the bridge. We look forward to our next visit. Thanks Chris
Ducked into this gem of a cafe to wait out the impending rain when I saw the adorable courtyard with umbrella tables. After checking out the pastries and the owner/manager describing two to me, I chose his favorite chocolate tart. Such a sweet treat to enjoy in the charming courtyard filled with flowers and a world away from the hustle and bustle. The tart was big enough for two to share it take home half of it. Very fudgy center. A great spot for a cup of tea or coffee. Beautiful place to meet people. 4.3 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Absolutely the best food of our trip. Huevos Rancheros was incredible. French toast, amazing. Beautiful food, quiet and wonderful courtyard, excellent prices, kind staff... Wish we would have gone here twice more!
Very nice little backdoor spot. The cafe is located upfront and is small, but quaint. The restaurant is located in the rear courtyard and has about 9 tables nestled under some patio chairs and umbrellas. The food is good. I had the breakfast, which included eggs, bacon, sausage (HOTDOG) and side of potatoes, seasoned very good. The service is not bad, and they have a bilingual menu available. Coffee selection is good, and I recommend the cafe de olla!! They take cash, but they defiantly request you pay in credit card. The prices are reasonable considering the close location to downtown, it's small and clean, but limited bathrooms, and they offer you a bread selection, brought out to the table, which is very good, but be aware that it's an up-sell and they fail to mention it, and place it on the bill, which is a negative. The french toast is very sweet, and large portion for your money. The pancakes are huge portions, and easy to share. Overall good, nice little spot, and I would recommend the food, and coffee.
A very cozy place. We got the chilaquiles and french toast, it was the best breakfast we had during our stay. The cafe de la olla and naranjadas are really delicious too, I wish we'd stopped by sooner.
