The best carbonara I have ever had: crackly guanciale with that divine sauce was phenomenal! I still think about it, you can not miss it and it is much better than the cacio e pepe which my colleague had. However, be aware that they take people from the queue, into the restaurant in sections. What this means is that even whilst tables clear out both inside and outside, you will not be seated until a lot of tables are cleared out. It's understandable but in the hot sun and when you are hungry, please be mindful as wait time can be upwards of 30 mins
After some minutes on the waiting line, i got to eat the best pasta I had in Rome. It was also cheap and well served, with a good bread as free convert. The truffle ravioli was perfect, but comes a lot less for the same.price as the other pastas. For sure the best restaurant we went
This restaurant was recommended in a couple of articles online and Instagram so I saved it on my list. The first day we arrive at night the line was too long. Probably an hour wait so we end up going to a different restaurant. Then we came back on Sunday lunch around 12pm. In Google it says it opens at 12:30 but it was already open at 12 and full of people. We didn't wait for the line tho, was able to sit right away. We tried something new gnocchi and a local intestine dish tomato sauce. It was good but because of all the reviews and people saying it's one of the best restaurants in the city, we had high expectations it was okay. We end up paying 29 euro for 2 dish and wine. Pretty reasonable. I guess we ordered the wrong food.
We had this on our first night in Rome based on the recommendation of our hotel. It was the best food we had throughout the week so we ended up here again on the last night! Perfect start and finish!!! So good - highly highly recommend the lasagne - best I had anywhere in Italy over three weeks of trying it in half a dozen cities.
One of the best restaurants we ate at in Rome. I especially loved the way they prepare artichokes. They’re not like in many other places in Rome where they’re deeply fried. The food overall is just so good. You might need to wait in line to get in, but it’s absolutely worth it. We had gnocchi with salmon~so delicious. The carbonara and the parmigiana were amazing… but if I had to recommend one dish, it would be the ravioli with truffles. The best. For deserts I recommend profiteroles
We ordered multiple appetizers, all wonderful and entrees completely amazing. The three of us got out for 80 Euros and were overwhelmed with the quality and taste. The wait was well worth it.
We ended up liking the food so much that we came 2 days in a row for dinner here. Beat carbonara and lasagna we've ever tasted. Service was great also, waiter was respectful and funny at the same time. Highly recommended, no doubt we will return on our next trip to Rome !
OMG! The absolute hidden gem amongst the vibrant area rumbling with bars and restaurants. The calamari was melting in the mouth with the gravy. The vodka pasta just screamed DEVOUR ME with creamy flavor. The chicken parmigiana had thinly sliced tender and beyond flavorful patties with an abundance of CHEESE and red gravy. THE desserts were ridiculously “slap your momma good” ! I almost ordered one of each!!! You MUST ask for Romano. His level of attention to detail and immaculate service is absolutely UNPARALLELED! Also, they gave us lemon cello which was amazing!
