Took a 30 minute detour to get here on our way back to Houston and it was so very worth it. Had the fried fish Acadian and jambalaya pasta. Was full at 50% of my plate but powered through to 90% because it was so good. The people there are so nice. Slowly slipping into a food coma as I drive though.
OMG! Why ya'll ain't tell me about this plaaacccee?!? I had a PORK CHOP sandwich!! With onion rings. When I tell you that Pork chop was SO GOOD! Well Seasoned & fried to perfection...OMG! The onion rings were good too! Thick cut and well seasoned. My daughter picked up my food but she said the ladies were so nice. I most definitely will return!
Currently closed. I came during my last trip here last March and the food was amazing. I came today to find it shuttered with a metal door. I found out the owner was shot over an order dispute on the 3rd. I hope she is okay and my thoughts are with her family. Really bummed this happened, and this place isn’t currently open because of it.
I had a grilled chicken potato. It is not listed on the menu, but they offer loaded potatoes with chicken, shrimp, brisket, and more. The customer service alone stands out. The staff was very patient and informative while I was ordering. It was my first time. They were very attentive as well while I waited for my food. The food is made to order which is always a plus. I do not mind waiting when I know it will be hot and fresh. The potato was soft and delicious. I will be back for sure.
Food was so good staff was really nice and very welcoming my first time coming here and I can say I absolutely love the fish backed potato highly recommend it
My family and I was stopping through coming from Virginia Beach EVERYTHING we ordered I mean EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS. The staff was top notch family atmosphere. We ordered dessert let's just say YOU MUST ORDER DESSERTS. Ambassador Rick and Family thank y'all see y'all on the way back

I had the taste for a baked potato, so my husband googled a few spots, I picked LJK just from the pics of food. Not gone lie, we pulled up, and the parking lot was empty, and we both became a little skeptical. We were about to pull off, and I asked my husband how their reviews were, we ended up giving them a try after reading several good reviews! (GLAD WE DID) Let me just say Mrs. Duncan and Dea's hospitality and professionalism alone were a plus for me! But while placing our order, it was Mrs. Duncan's confidence in what she was serving, that really made me want to see what they had to offer!! We both ordered stuffed baked potatoes, and let me say, THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! The preparation, the size of the potatoes, and the taste definitely deserve 5 s!! We will definitely return to try more of their food and hospitality!!
