This is at the new location. Super busy but totally worth the wait! So delicious. Staff working so hard! I believe it’s their second day here at the new location so they are still working out the bugs but hey…it’s home cooked food, not fast food. Huge portions and wonderful atmosphere. Definitely will be back! Brown family
They let me order the breakfast 2 hours early, the server was so wonderful, the cook who I was in view of from my table was calm and happy, the food was great quality! I am tempted to address a previous review of this place which criticized the tacos for being made of diner food but I’m going to trust that all of you have critical thinking skills enough to understand that every amazing little diamond in the rough is subject to unreasonable people who want authentic Mexican tacos from a Greek diner. This place is worth your time if you want want the classic timeless diner experience!
I have been a loyal customer of Malibu since 2016. I was excited when I heard that they had moved to a new location. During the last two weeks, I have visited the new location twice and it never disappoints. The food is excellent, the service is warm and professional as usual, and the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. You can tell she truly cares about her customers. A lovely place with a great atmosphere — definitely will go there again and again.
Came to this place upon a recommendation of a friend who lives in London area. We were a party of 11 with 8 adults and 3 kids on Sunday noon. They were able to accommodate the party and move around tables for us to sit all together, which was nice. Place is old, having the diner feel. Our server was great, she was pleasant, quick, and came by often to refill the coffees and made sure we were okay. For our party, we ordered the gyro skillet, potato Pancake with over easy eggs, plain French toast, and 2 eggs with Sausage on the side. I had the potato Pancake dish. It was a decent portion, and while it was good, I found the potato Pancake to be on the saltier side. The gyro skillet was good too, but also slightly salty. The coffee was okay, nothing fancy, it comes with unlimited refills. The French toast was light and fluffy. Can't go wrong with the basics of 2 eggs and sausages with toast and potatoes. The potatoes could be slightly crispier. Prices are portions are decent. There are a lot of menu choices, they have lunch and dinner options too. One order ended up being wrong and the new order took a long time to come, and our server gave it to the other family for free, which was nice of them to do. It got busier as the time came on and looks like it's popular with a lot of the locals.
Kinda down home restaurant with good quality food and reasonably priced. We had an omelette and the potato pancake. Cindy our waitress was especially great. She has a sense of humour and is a an excellent waitress.
Our first time to the new location, and it was very busy. Our waitress (Cindy) approached us with a very positive attitude, even though they were swamped. Her personality brought a smile to my face, and her service was excellent.
