Meet On Blanshard

We ordered the calamari, the KFC skewers, and the meal of the week, smoked meet poutine! It was all very tasty! We were served by Emmett, who took good care of us! Friendly service, great food, and a funky atmosphere all added up to a lovely experience!

Must try! The food is so amazing and everything is vegan. I was having a hard time not crying! It's been so long since I've had calamari and their gluten free mushroom calamari with the tatziki is a 10 out of 10! I also had gnocci with whipped feta,omg so good! The rocky road desert was very rich but still so good! I was massively impressed by everything, even the rooibos iced tea! Sadly this location will be closing at the end of the month but they have their restaurant in Vancouver so there's still hope! Go go go! You won't regret it. I was very happy to give them my money.

Stopped by for a quick bite during our trip to Victoria and found the place to be impressively spacious and well-designed, boasting a modern aesthetic. They offer a wide range of options catering to diverse tastes, and we opted for the classic burger and Korean fried chicken. While the burger was satisfactory, it fell short of the juiciness I anticipated. However, the fries and dips were enjoyable. The Korean fried chicken lacked the expected punch, but the in-house sodas we ordered were delightful. Service was efficient, with courteous staff attending to our needs promptly. Overall, it was a decent experience.

I love Meet on Main, so naturally, i should love Meet on Blanchard, which i do. But my first visit was less than stellar. It was during the opening phase, so well, i let that one slide. You know all new staff for a new restaurant, you've gotta wait a bit for them to work out the kinks. I've been back for dinner and brunch a bunch more times, and I've had amazing experiences. The atmosphere is really nice and relaxed. Food is really great as well, lots on the menu, obviously all vegan, diverse comfort food menu. Service has always been great as well. Love the pink painted duct work.

We came for happy hour. It’s super nice that they have happy hour specials. The space was nice and clean. We liked the tacos. The noodles were good though quite heavy, same for the poutine. The service was really poor. The place was practically empty and we were seated quickly. The server rushed off and I had to stop him to ask about the happy hour. We were unable to order for a while because he was nowhere to be found. He didn’t really come by to check on us or refill the waters (except once, despite them being empty most of the time—the water cups are small). We got his attention after a while to ask for boxes and a bill, and he brought us boxes but no bill. We had to wait in line to get the bill at the front and pay, which took a while since folks were waiting for someone to help them. The food is okay, but the service could use work. It’s nice to see a new vegan restaurant in Victoria, so I hope they improve with time. Edit: Updating to 4 stars for fantastic after-review outreach and service.

Came from the Lower Mainland to this wonderful place to get my favorite Thai noodles, and my boyfriend had his mac and cheese. The food is alright; the Thai noodles I ate were a little hard. Tastes are okay. Excellent service. Was greeted with a friendly staff, the food was coming fast, and the restaurant atmosphere was cozy.

Dined in with my Wife and 1 year old. We all loved our meals which are large portions! Hearty comfort vegan food that's not greasy Definitely will be back can't wait to try everything on the menu. Meet is a very interesting place. First off they do not serve any meat products, The food is loaded in flavor and vibrant in color, and alive. My employer said it is the best vegan Burger he has ever had, every place he's been. My meal was spectacular. No words could explain. I ordered the big yum. That's exactly what it was, very delicious. Yum yum yum. I'm definitely gonna go back and I want to bring a date this time There are a lot of people in the city who are missing out Well worth the wait Just stay in line do not leave. You won't regret it.
