My husband had "The Book Club" and I had a bacon cheddar cheeseburger. Both were delicious! The meat was juicy and tasted like it was just grilled! This building has so much charm. It's very comfortable to sit in and eat. I see you can order take out as well. We will most definitely be back!

When I tell you it was service with a smile... I meant just that . The young lady said I had the same name as her dad and that he was a welder too. I will definitely be going back. Oh and that cheesecake was amazing!!! Loved the experience!

Southern hospitality in a nut shell. I got the book club, coleslaw, and fried green tomatoes. Never had FGT before so this was a first time for me. I’m a fan now . I’m very thankful for their books as well! My fave book the great Gatsby was sitting right on the book shelf waiting for me to open it . Great experience food was also great. See you guys soon !

We decided on the Nashville exchange to meet family from close to the coast and we live in Pittsboro on the west side of Raleigh. This was a great halfway point to meet. The food was delicious. The service was awesome. It was a wonderful dining experience. I can’t recommend them enough

We found this wonderful restaurant on a road trip. We pulled up 12 minutes before they were closing, they urged us to sit down, and served us like we were the first customers of the day. We ordered the BLFGT sandwich and it was amazing. Great service, great food, great prices!

Well this place can be called a hidden gem. I had lunch with a couple of coworkers at the recommendation of another coworker. I did what I usually do at a new place which is to try the simplest thing on the menu first. If you don't get easy stuff right, I never expect you to get the complicated stuff right. So I got the soup of the day and a half sandwich. Potato soup and pimento cheese. It was great! Homemade soup and a sandwich to dip into it. Everything made there. Heaven. Then I let myself be talked into blueberry cheesecake. The crust of which was made of blueberry muffins! I had meant to take it with me, but after one bite I knew it wouldn't make it out of the restaurant. So the food was great! The service was fast and friendly and the waitress kept coming back to talk to us and get us refills, despite the place being packed. In fact our waitress made the cheesecake. Now on to atmosphere. The building one of those old buildings in NC. Its got that old school shelving on the wall, so it looks like an old general store. But updated creatively. The problem with the atmosphere was the clientele. You got that go away vibe from the old generation that was eating there. The we don't like people who are different from us vibe. Two women stared at myself and my coworkers then entire time we were there, rolling their eyes and being pointedly dubious. Whispering in that way they do. That aside it was great food, at a great price and I highly recommend going for the food. Just snub the townies as hard as they are going to snub you.

My girlfriend and I are on the road alot for work.Today we stopped in and had one of and maybe the best lunch, taste and value we have had anywhere. We each had half sandwich and salad bar. We wish there was one in every town we go to. So delightful

I went for lunch and really enjoyed it. I got the Nashville Exchange Steak and Cheese Wrap with Potato Salad. The potato salad was so good! My husband got the PoBoy sandwich with homemade chips. The shrimp in the PoBoy was really good. My daughter got the chicken tenders and fries which were both good. In all, everything we ordered was really good. Went back and got the Monte Cristo sandwich and it was so good! The tomato in the picture is from my daughter’s burger.
