Wow, what an incredible place! We came here on a rec from Christina from ADK Woodcraft Camps, and we’re so glad we did! The food is incredible and the staff is so welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back when we’re next in town!

Wonderful service they got us in even though we didn't have a reservation and the food was out of this world best I've ever had. And the drinks are a whole other experience of their own!! We will definitely be returning every time we visit Old Forge.

The food was absolutely fantastic! The asparagus was cooked perfectly, the steak was phenomenal, the risotto was delicious. Not a huge fan of artichokes, yet they were also cooked perfectly. Our server, Ted, was one of the best I've ever seen. He worked with pride and purpose. My only concern was that the lights were rather dim, so I had a hard time reading the menu. Other than that, so, so, so good. Pictured below is girlfriends food, as I was enjoying my scrumptious meal.

The best food, service and environment in the ADK. I just went to Hells Kitchen (Gordon Ramsay) in Atlantic City a few weeks ago and the filet mignon here was better than Gordon Ramsay’s. We had the night’s special - elote corn ribs - and brussel sprouts for appetizers. If you like Brussel sprouts, these will have you floored from how good and crispy they are. For our entrees we had the jerk hen and the filet mignon. You get a lot of bang for your buck with the jerk hen, seasoned perfectly, nice kick but not over powering, and the delicious coconut cream paired so well with the hen, rice and beans. The filet mignon (medium rare) was a beautiful cut and melted in my mouth! It was served with potato crisps on top and cauliflower and mushrooms in potato cream that was so savory and delicious. You are also served a few slices of toasted bread with a spread and toppings - tonight was pickled cauliflower with whipped ricotta cheese. It had my jaw on the floor, it was the delicious. Our server was wonderful, informative and attentive, even with the restaurant completely full. The owner Kate hustled with her staff to make sure everything was smooth. My wife was most impressed with their wine selections and cocktails. If you don’t drink like me they have great mocktails too! I wish I could rate higher. We will definitely be back!

Quaint and cozy are the backdrop for the best food, drinks and service one would maybe not expect from a restaurant on NY28 in Thendara. The Nest is a game changer is all aspects. You will be treated with care and served pure gold. All their offerings are hand made. Highly recommended.

I am going 5 star because I know it to be true. However, valentines Day was a 3. The food service was very slow and all our food was luke warm to cold. Bartender was fantastic running all the drinks for the whole place by himself. It was not a great experience, sadly.

Absolutely amazing. I had the Steak and Frite, My wife had the flat bread and the street corn. My daughter had the Airline Chicken. Every dish was delicious. My steak was cooked to perfection. The drinks were great. The staff went above and beyond. Well worth every penny
