Nine Medical Deli & Grill

This little restaurant tucked away in a medical complex has the best Chicken Philly I've had in Columbia. I know there's not much to 1 and theirs is just a tad light on the peppers and onions, that why not a 5 for me, but they do a very good job at it. Well seasoned, browned, not burnt. I wish I could say that you can just pop in and grab one and get back in the race but, the only way I've been there less than 30 minutes was to call ahead. Is it worth the wait?? I keep coming back, so to me and the folks I've brought there we agree; yes. Give em a try. Come in, order sit down in there quite little place get a nice little brake for the rat race. Get the Chicken Philly, all the way with mayo

I love this little deli. I spend a lot of time at the children's hospital with my daughter and we always order a cheese pizza for her. I love the Miss Piggy sub as well as the chicken Philly and the cheesesteak Philly. They have wonderful pasta meals as well as a great hamburger. I love the guys who run this place. I've known them for many years only because of all the years of hospital visits. They've always been so good to me.

This place is great. Steve may be rough around the edges and about his time to retire but the food is fresh and amazing. It's a must try! The pizza and pastas are my favorite. Same people working there for over 10 years +

Lunch break. Busy place. Prolly call in if you on quick lunch. Fish tastes amazing with awesome seasoning. Half way through I'm full. Seating available inside. Cheesecake in cooler, I didn't try it this time. So yes they have desserts.

This place is very convenient when you work at the hospital and don't want to go to the cafeteria. I really love the chicken gyro, the pizza and calzones aren't bad either. Always super busy during lunch, depending on the time of day you can get in and out quickly.

If you're looking for a nice spot for some FRESH deli food, this is the place. It's always delicious and well worth the money. I hope the owner never retires so we can eat here forever!

April 15, 2025, 12:45 pm-ish arrival after morning of chemo. Busy busy lunch spot. First time here, I see this place has a personality and Excellent food and makes your food on the spot, not an assembly line. Got a grill dish, Chicken Oriental over rice, WOW it was FIVE star!!!! And a huge serving. The spices are just right . The vegetable mix is just what I love, fresh green beans, mushroom, broccoli, roasted sautéed red peppers and onions. Perfect for me in every way, I will be back! My husband got a turkey and cheese sub, he said the roll was incredible.

No omplaints... The place was very clean and my salad was basic but very good.
