Oishii Ramen&bar- Forney

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had such a great experience here! Walking in, the first thing I noticed was how comfortable the temperature was—especially on a hot day outside. The cool, crisp air was such a relief, and it instantly made the atmosphere welcoming. The décor is super cute and eye-catching, which adds a fun vibe and makes it a place I’d definitely want to come back to, maybe even to celebrate my birthday in the future. The menu has so many great options, and I loved the portion sizes. It’s nice having enough to take home for later. We ordered a variety of dishes, but my favorite was the rice bowl—it had amazing flavor and was such a satisfying portion. Even my son, who can be picky with certain ingredients, really enjoyed it, which says a lot! The staff surprised us by bringing out a complimentary dessert for my son, which was very sweet of them. We usually try to limit sweets, so next time I’ll probably ask them to hold off, but it was such a thoughtful gesture. Service throughout the meal was excellent. The team was attentive, kept our drinks full, and made sure everything went smoothly. I also love that the restaurant offers different seating options—from the bar if you’re solo, to cozy booths and tables for groups. The whole atmosphere is so inviting, and I feel lucky this spot is close to home. Highly recommend!

Food was amazing, restaurant was gorgeous, and our waitress was so sweet. I definitely ordered too much on accident assuming the portions wouldn’t be that big, but they most definitely were. 10/10 would recommend.

Delicious ramen and great gyoza !! I got the to miso tonkotsu ramen and the egg was so yummy I wish I could have ordered extra. The noodles were perfection and the pork melted in my mouth. The service was excellent, quick and friendly. High quality food and service. This is our new go to for ramen. 10/10 would recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My husband and I visited Oishii Ramen Bar for lunch yesterday, and it was our first time at this relatively new eatery. The restaurant was well visited, which to me is always a good sign. We shared the Crab Rangoon as an appetizer, which was very tasty and beautifully presented. I ordered the Ramen No. 3 with pork belly, and my husband chose the chicken hibachi. Both dishes were delicious. The only suggestion I would make is to serve the food a bit hotter, as I personally prefer my meals piping hot. The ambiance was quite nice—definitely more pleasant than many places we’ve seen in the Forney area—and the service was excellent. After we finished our meal, we were surprised with a scoop of ice cream served on a plate decorated with “Happy Holidays” written in chocolate, which was a very thoughtful and unexpected gesture. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend Oishii Ramen Bar.

The food is so delicious . The staff member were so friendly and polite. Also Everything look so nice and pretty even the foods. Highly recommended this place, and we will come back it was to yummy.

This restaurant is pretty. Staff are helpful & attentive. Food is so delicious! #13 ramen with the Thai tea & bun daily special & unagi sashimi. I have a lot of leftovers since the portions are healthy! I cannot wait for lunch tomorrow! Definitely come here!

Absolutely phenomenal random stop for lunch today. Not only was the service super friendly and delightful, but the food and Thai tea was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. There was nice music playing and just an overall calming atmosphere. We will be back for more sushi dates… We even got a surprise cute ice cream scoop at the end!

I can’t believe this place is in Forney, they have a very nice selection of ramen and price is within reason. I would recommend if you’re in Forney and is looking for the BEST Japanese cuisine. Atmosphere is superb, you can tell the owner put a lot of love and passion in this place.
