Cozy tavern in Stowe. Filet Mignon at a tavern? It was amazing and perfectly prepared. The asparagus was great too. The garden salad was delicious with the maple balsamic dressing. My husband loved the pretzel.
Nice local place, food was good. Everything came out super hot, nice little arcade and pool area. Had the Vermonter with the maple aioli, delicious
Stopped in for dinner after a long day, they had all the NFL games on and we got seated quickly. I had the Vermonter sandwich, which may be the best sandwich I have ever had. They have a pool table and some arcade games, plus outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend!
The Vermonter sandwich with the maple aioli was amazing. You can tell that Rimrocks is chef owned, it really shows through in the food. Service was also amazing. Will definitely be coming back when back in the area.
We had dinner here this evening - this is a hoppin joint and ope, even though the season isn't fully started yet. I had the meatball sub/fries, she had the turkey club/fries. Both were good, in fact, the meatball sub was *very* good. Service is relaxed and felt like a lot of locals in the place enjoying a drink or food. There is a game room, bar area and sort of middle-room between - good assortment of food and lots of seating.
Really enjoyed this place. 1st time there, stopped for a quick dinner before leaving Stowe. The steak was of high quality, cooked properly and welk seasoned; one of the best steaks I had this year.
Food was amazing and so were the drinks! I have celiac disease and I was able to find plenty to eat. The fact that they have games is nice for kids. Reminds me of old Stowe before it got bought by Vail and developed.
The bartender was very friendly and attentive. The chili, the chicken tortilla soup, the chicken Caesar salad, and the cheeseburger were all amazing. It was a very nice place with extremely friendly employees. Highly recommend.
