An excellent place to get some real down south soul food

I love this place. They make you feel at home. The atmosphere is awesome. The food is even better. Down home cooking at it's finest.

Sweet people with good service, good prices and The Food is great! A few things to mention if you like tartar sauce you will love their homemade recipe amazing, best in the country. Don't ask me what a butter roll is but before we left the owner / cook offered us a taste we couldn't leave without buying one to go, don't leave without having one for desert. You will leave completely satisfied and full... thank you for homemade food.

I had awesome catfish filet, fresh turnip greens and yams. They had a great homemade tartar sauce. Food was flavorful, hot and cooked to perfection; I was stuffed to the brim! Everyone went out of their way to attend to our needs, requests. There was alot of home style cooked variety. One member of our party had spaghetti, yams and beans and rice. They had some authentic Cajun style food as well. My husband had the pork chops in gravy, with fresh coleslaw, and tge beans and rice with cornbread! Definitely glad we stopped in!

I highly recommend this place. This soul food restaurant has the best soul food I've tasted other than my Nana's. They have great food at great price and are not stingy with the portions.

Tried it for the first time today. I'm mad I got back bones and ribs. Both were fine but those ribs were the best!! Thanks so much
