Delicious food and excellent service. We were staying in this area for a few days and decided to try a local breakfast spot. I’m glad we decided to eat here. The food was awesome and the staff was very friendly. I ordered the Irish Benedict and it was wonderful. Everything was cooked perfectly. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the home fries, they were just chopped up red potatoes and they didn’t have much flavor to them at all. But the rest of my food was great! My husband ordered the hungry man breakfast and he enjoyed his food also. The pancakes were huge. Cute little restaurant in downtown Hiawassee. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area.
Late lunch for five adults. Breakfast ends at 2 pm. We got there after two. No wait for seating. Courteous greeting and our order was promptly taken. Side salads were fresh. Onion rings were fantastic and done right. All the entrees were hot and fresh. Our server checked on us frequently. Would like to come back and try breakfast items.
Beautiful lil place to meet a friend for lunch, our server was wonderful She got a spinach and mushroom omelet. She said it was perfect, my Philly cheese steak was very dry and the bun was really toasted. We had a wonderful visit so it was a nice lunch.
The food was good. I had the fried trio. It was good, but I wish they had just used flour instead of thick coating on the fish, scallops and shrimp. I would definitely go back.
The breakfast was excellent. I had a spinach and feta omelet and coconut French toast (awesome), and my kids had croissant breakfast sandwiches. It was all fresh and delicious. I’m awarding 5 for food quality and price, because that’s what matters most to me. There were some minute things about the service I could mention, but I won’t because it was a busy morning. The staff was friendly enough and did their job so I’m not going to nitpick. The food was outstanding.
The Sundance Grill was a little hidden farm-to-table gem in Hiawassee, GA. Although it was not the most diverse setting, it was quaint and the food was tasty. The homemade corned-beef hash - fried hard with a “crisp” around the edges - and the pork sausage was the favorite . Adding avocado to my veggie filled omelet made the meal more filling. The pancakes were okay, but were cold and dry - making griddled pancakes not my thing. Great service is always a must, but the service on this day was just good. Since the place was busy, the food took a bit of time getting to the table and there was a wait for silverware to be cleaned. Great Gift Shop + Christmas store next door so don’t leave the area without visiting
We had breakfast there this time and I would rate it as "Good". We've had lunch there several times and their lunch was "Very Good". Service is always excellent with a very friendly staff. We'll continue visiting the Sundance Grill in the future
I love this restaurant. Since I have moved here I've stopped often. The stuffed French toast is delicious. I would suggest it every time, and they have a bunch of different types of egg Benedict and each one is amazing. They always have decaf coffee made for me and the server is always super helpful. Only negative on this restaurant... The chairs of the restaurant, the cushions have been squished down so hard that it kind of feels like you're sitting on a hardwood frame. So the chair will not be comfortable while you eat. But I find it a small price to pay. It's sort of a thing I have to accept when I eat there.
