This ain't Broadway, nor do they have a lock on Vidalia's, but a perfectly grilled steak is no small feat. An inch and a quarter thick NY strip steak is waiting here for you and it is as tender as a fresh born calf. Thank goodness for fine cookin'.

The owner chatted with us during our first visit. Super nice guy and a hard worker - he was behind the grill the next time we came in. Always good food - the double cheese burger is da bomb! Fried oysters were yummy. The drinks and the atmosphere are great. We will go every time we visit for sure. Cheers mate!

We took some friends out for their anniversary there last night! Incredible friendly service and the food was absolutely delicious! I just love this place and all of us enjoyed it very much. They were following guidelines for covid and we felt very safe. And the upside down pineapple cake was best I have ever tried. Thanks to all at 606! We had already had best family Christmas dinner, 18 of us, last year, pristine and delicious! Can't say enough!

Update ... Ever wonder where do you go out to eat on a Sunday on the Northern Neck ?? I decided to try 606 again after a friend of mine was there the other night. My buddy and I got a booth and reviewed the menu..service was prompt and attentive. I wanted the pork chops but alas they just ran out, so I had the Ribeye sandwich with potato salad. My friend tried the buffalo chicken sandwich w fries.. both were very decent sized portions and neither of us are small guys. My buddy liked the bite to the buffalo flavoring and enjoyed his sandwich..I guess too much as I was still eating a while and he was done! My steak was very ample but I trimmed it a bit more to suit my tastes . I decided to slice my steak and eat it with half the bun, and use the other part of the roll for the lettuce tomato and onion ..like an Italian salad sandwich. The potato salad was unique with egg and a peppery tang to it. It was served in a very good sized portion. So the question is answered ...where to eat Sunday afternoon/ eve ? 606 seems to be just right to fill that need. We both left very full. Give it a try! I re-tried 606 tonight giving it another chance.. they seem to be now more in their groove. The waitress was new but she tried and did fine. We ordered sandwiches and both the order and the food were promptly handled. I had the pork which was a bit over cooked but pleasantly filled the sub roll and it came with fries, as did my friends exotic sounding chicken sub, which a bit more chicken n sauce would have helped. The back room has a sports vibe and seems more chill n active than other areas. Guys will like watching tons of different sports in screens as they chow down.

Graham has really set the bar for the area in regards to quality of food. The last half dozen meals I've eaten there have been simply outstanding. It is very reasonably priced, the atmosphere is light and fun and the staff is attentive. Keep up the good work.

My wife and I recently had dinner at this fine establishment. Decor and atmosphere are great. Both of us had a hungering for crab cakes. My wife was not so hungry so she ordered the crab cake sandwich for $15. I, on the other hand, was quite hungry so I ordered the crab cake dinner for $27. Both of us really liked our crab cakes. The only problem is the crab cake dinner has just one crab cake as shown in the bottom of the picture. It looks like the same size crab cake as the crab cake sandwich that is shown in the top of the picture. Not much difference in how the two dishes look. I will add that my dinner included a small plate of mixed vegetables that are not shown in the picture. So if you want a decent portion of crab cakes then order two crab cake sandwiches for $30. I would rate this five stars if my crab cake dinner had two crab cakes.

The Quays is an Irish restaurant that seats 80 and is open for special events in the summer and opening full time for the fall. Walkabout Creek is a casual Australian themed restaurant that seats about 248 and is currently open full time for the summer. There was only one server (Ruthie) during our visit and service was still pretty swift. Melissa ensures the bathroom is stocked with paper towels and Nick (an Irish immigrant) pulls double-duty as bartender and manager. We ordered a vegan house salad with a side of brussel sprouts and Bbq tacos. For just being two tacos, they were pretty filling. The place has a calm atmosphere and the music is not too load.

Had a blast here this past weekend celebrating a bachelorette! Loved the atmosphere, friendly staff, and perfectly mixed drinks. Our group came on a night without live music, and still had so much fun; can only imagine how great the vibes are in this place on a Live Music or Karaoke Night! Graham, Nick and our lovely bartender treated us with such hospitality. They truly went out of their way to make the night memorable for our bride-to-be and we all left that evening feeling like part of the family. Would make the 4hr drive again just to support this establishment and the wonderful people working in it!
