If you’re ever driving thru Newton, this is a must try! I would come back to Newton just for their food. The shrimp is seasoned to perfection! I typically don’t eat hush puppies, but I wanted to try theirs and they are delicious!!! Although they are not labeled fast food, you place your order at the window & they bring it to your car promptly. They’re very friendly & the food is worth every penny. Huge thank you to The Catfish Shack, I will be back!!!

Amazing, out of the way, dinner spot. Owned and operated by a local couple, they serve up great southern hospitality and some terrific food. If you happen to be anywhere near this place around supper time, you need to stop here. The menu is not very large. But you'll be hard pressed to find anything on it that's not delicious. EAT HERE!!!! You'll love it!
I tried it for the first time, and all I can say is THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU!! The freshest fish I've had from a restaurant in a long time. You will not be disappointed!! I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants fresh catfish.
We did a u-turn after seeing the sign! We ordered catfish filets and shrimp-- loved both! The owner came and chatted with us and made sure we were enjoying it food. My 6 year old asked if we could stop at this place every time we go to Florida!!

Sides portions were a little small. Catfish and shrimp were good. FYI. There is no inside dining. Jusg picnik tables outside.
Very excellent food , service was good and outside dining was great, if you are in Newton Georgia ,and they are open stop and eat there , if you have the time you will not be disappointed, it is well worth the wait . (outside dining only or pick up)
