The Derbyshire

Loved the place. They expanded seating to the outside sorta temporary looking but it really opens things up. Lots of TVs for sports viewing. Smithwick's red ale was really good. Sweet malty taste mild hops. We had chicken sandwich better described as a chicken parm sandwich really good. Scottish eggs and Irish Pretzels delicious appetizers. The Guiness steak and mushroom onion sandwich was good but you need to like the taste of Guiness. O For the sides the very unique chip fries are a great addition. Although there are many unique "English" items on the menu what I'd like to see would have been a Cornish Pasty.

Neat little pub. Grab a small bite to eat and enjoyed the fried cheese and Scottish eggs. They also have a full bar and I partook in the Dublin drop shots (Irish carbomb) which were only $3 a shot.

Fish and chips….Very best what I have tested so far. WOW. Super sized super crispy and delicious. Fries are very nice and not like regular.

Food was excellent except fish and chips were surprisingly average. Almost chewy. Guinness steak and mushroom sandwich was awesome! The chicken sandwich was amazing too. The honey mustard ish sauce that comes with the scotch eggs was really really good. The scotch eggs tasted really good but felt like a little more care could have been taken to prepare them. Will be back.

Great food! Great service! They have the best chips (fries) I've ever had. Pictured is the Fish and Chips half order with mashed peas. Delicious!

I always get the fish and chips(incredible). Today, we tried the steak sandwich and the Rueben- good lord!! It was beyond delicious!!!! Take out, delivery or dine in are all amazing here. Love love love their food! Thank you for existing in our square Derbyshire!

I’d heard this place was perfect for watching the Bears games, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The enclosed patio was packed with fans, and the energy was fantastic. Every time the Bears scored, they played the Chicago Bears song, and the whole bar joined in—such a fun touch that really brought the place to life! Our waitress, Trey, was awesome—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. I also really liked that they bring the credit card machine right to your table, so you’re in control of your payment and tip. Wish more places did that! The food and drinks were great. I’ll be back for sure!

My mother and I were looking for some fish and chips …. Quickly google search led us here …. Let me say the fish chowder and the fish & chips were phenomenal. Great consistency in the chowder and the fish was not covered in a thick cake batter- it was nice and crispy with excellent quality fish. Will be here again for sure!
