The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Abbotsford

The food was great. The only complaint is the veggies were a little over salted. Portions were generous. Gained 2lbs after the meal.

Good old steakhouse style. My suggestion is call ahead for reservations for if you want to eat during hours. They have limited seating. Also if you want prime rib, call and reserve ahead of time too.

Absolutely amazing visit. Came here a few days ago for my birthday for the baked garlic shrimp ended up staying for dinner solely for the servers attitude and service( which I had her name). She was polite on the mark with her service and didn’t make me feel rushed at all to order eat or pay to leave. I had the risotto for the first time and was pleasantly impressed by the taste. As always an excellent meal and wonderful service

My Niece wanted all of us to go to the Happy Hour at the Keg, we all wanted to go where she selected as she was very ill and her future restaurant selections were limited. I'm so glad we drove to the Abby Keg, they were very accommodating to all of our special requests and everyone enjoyed their meals. My Niece ordered 4 appetizers and savoured every bite including the massive Billy Miner pie, surrounded by her loving family. May she rest in peace, thank you Abby Keg!

The Keg Steakhouse + Bar is perfect for both special occasions and casual dining. The peppercorn steak is wonderful. The server is attentive and warm. The wine list was impressive, offering a great selection to pair with our meals. To dessert is a delightful end to the meal.

Service was friendly and the ambiance is nice and cozy. The complimentary bread was warm and paired with their three-cheese whipped butter, which was a great touch. I also love the Billy Miner pie, and the chocolate mint at the end is always a nice little bonus. The calamari was just okay. Most of the entrees were fine, but I would skip the lobster tails since they were a bit dry and rubbery. The prime rib meal was also just okay, and I’d pass on the baked potato. Overall, the highlights for me were definitely the bread, the pie, and the chocolate mint.

Pretty busy on a Saturday night, we waited for 45 minutes without a reservation. Staff brought sample appetizers to those waiting, and were very kind! Food is great and comes out fairly quickly for how busy they are!

Jen greeted us with a warm smile, was super knowledgeable about the menu (helped us pick the perfect steaks and sides without any rush), and kept everything running smoothly even when the place got busy. Our drinks arrived quickly, she checked in at just the right moments, and the food came out perfectly timed and cooked exactly how we wanted. Her attention to detail and genuine friendly vibe made the whole dinner feel special. It's clear she loves what she does, and it really elevated our night out. The steaks were delicious as always, the atmosphere cozy and upscale, but Jen was definitely the highlight. If you're heading to this location, ask for her—you won't be disappointed! Great food great times great service. The only thing I didn't care for was there was quite a bit of ice in my drink which was that turmeric spice drink.

I recently dined at The Keg in Abbotsford, and they reminded me exactly why they are a staple for a great steak dinner. From the moment we walked in, the experience was seamless and satisfying. The Breakdown: • Perfectly Cooked Steaks: The kitchen knows exactly what they’re doing. My steak was seasoned beautifully and cooked exactly to my liking—rarely do you find a spot that hits the temperature that precisely. • Freshness You Can Taste: You can tell they aren't cutting corners. From the crisp greens to the high-quality cuts of meat, the fresh ingredients really shine through. • Top-Tier Service: The customer service was excellent. Our server was attentive without being hovering, and they even proactively offered us extra bread for free, which is always a win in my book. • The Sweet Finish: Make sure you save room for dessert! The portions are very generous—definitely big enough to share, though you might not want to once you taste it.

The keg never changes. Which isnt a bad thing you always know what you are in for. If you dont say something you will be in and out of there in 45 mins. They have such a quick turn over for tables. Definitely a little pricey for what you get these days. Our group was big 16 people and they did a great job. We had a few kids and they brought all the kids ice cream at the end which was really sweet. Overall good experience tonight.

Wonderful experience at the Abbotsford Keg last night. They actually still had their dine out Vancouver menu which is $58 bucks. Was not expecting that in Abby. It included 3 courses, choice of salad or lobster bisque, choice of steak, prime rib or salmon. And Billy Miner Pie. Now in Van area those portions would have been smaller ala carte size however last night it was huge. The portions were like their regular menu size. Our whole bill with a bottle of wine and 4 cocktails was $350. That included a 20% tip. Well done Keg

Food was delicious and our server was amazing. We've had Brayden before and are never disappointed. There were 6 of us out and we all really enjoyed our meals, including the appies and desserts. The desserts are big enough to share! The enjoy this locations quality and consistency and and never disappointed with the food who be back again.
