I haven't had the chance to dine in yet, but l ordered a pizza to go, and it was delicious! The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was quick and friendly. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying another meal. Thanks!

I've only been here twice and each time it was enjoyable. The atmosphere is nice with a fireplace in the corner but it's a heat log with the heat off. It just gives it the look of a cozy fire. I mean it's Don Pedro and it's almost June, no one wants to sit around a real fire. Lol. I've had the pizza it was good. I prefer mine a little crispy so i will mention that next time but the left overs the next day in my toaster oven made it just perfect. I also shared some ribs with a friend of mine. They were very good and fell off the bone. The onion rings were crispy and light and the beans were good. The last time i had gone we had a drink with dinner and currently they couldn't blend the margarita, I don't recall why. Put on the rocks it was good and tasty, and very refreshing. I think it's worth stopping by if you're looking for something to eat after all we don't support our local businesses then they don't stick around. I think it could be a really fun place we just need to get some locals in there and help out with the business. I'll go again

I can't wait to go back to this place. It is Super duper nice. They did a fantastic job with all the construction. The food is fantastic. I met the owner lady and another young lady I think her daughter. They are very nice people. They go out of their way to make sure their customers are happy. Thank you Mineshaft. Jesus bless you and your family

I went there with two other riding friends. Motorcycles. Anyway the BBQ/BACON BURGER was delicious. Also had homemade potato salad. Very good. Nice and clean. I would recommend you try it.

In between lake McClure and lake don Pedro. The area has been in desperate need of a restaurant for several years. The mineshaft is has great selection of food reasonably priced, options for adults and our four kids after a great day on the lake. We arrived late on a Sunday and our waitress was so pleasant and helpful. Loved the vibe and decor as well tying into the local history which stretches all the way back to the birth of the state with the gold rush. Spent a few minutes waking around the restaurant checking out all the rich old photos. Clean restrooms.

Absolutely loved our experience at the Mine Shaft Restaurant! We were excited to try their burgers and Clam chowder but when we arrived they were out, we decided to go for a house salad, steak, and onion rings instead. Let me tell you, the grilled shrimp we added to the salad was perfectly cooked and seasoned—such a delightful surprise! While the menu had its quirks, we would really appreciate a more focused selection, perhaps featuring a top-notch pub food menu with an assortment of fresh salads or even a salad bar along with a great bread option. Also, having a children's menu would be a fantastic addition! Specials can really elevate a dining experience, and we're always thrilled when restaurants showcase unique combinations of complimentary sides or dishes inspired by the chef. The Mine Shaft Restaurant has incredible potential, and we’re eagerly looking forward to what’s next on their journey!

I love the excitement this crew has for the development of this Mineshaft Steakhouse! The history of, and the work that went into this restaurant is a wonderful asset to the Mariposa area. The staff: has a bit more to learn on hospitality but a very warm inviting atmosphere where they were all willing to assist. Now for the food: Chicken Fried Steak, how's the gravy? He said it tasted as if it was made where the steak was fried. Ok. It was good, as expected. The Spicy Chicken Wrap, well, he was hoping for a bit more chicken, taste was spot on. The burger was good, a little to well-done? They did make it Protein style for mom though, so excellent. The Grilled Chicken Fettuccine very good. My daughter was hoping for a bit more chicken on that one too! I noticed the pasta stuck together in some spots, so maybe suace it a little sooner? My Ribeye was delicious med-rare and so good. I would order that again! Price: average. Next time we'll get the pizzas...oh yes they have pizza too!

Stop to check out the cheese pull on the pizza, and stay for the eclectic menu options and unique atmosphere. Our party enjoyed three different types of pizza (one with Alfredo sauce), orange chicken with Yakisoba noodles, salmon with salad, fish and chips, a burger with fries, chicken strips with fries, and mozzarella sticks. The food was delicious. Not only do they offer six signature types of pizza, it had cheese above and below the toppings! There are three different sizes of pizza, and they even offer a cauliflower crust (it does contain milk and eggs). I want to order the Kalua pulled pork next time I visit. The entire restaurant revolves around a mining theme from the decorations that adorn the walls to the most beautiful cedar bartop. A glistening cedar arch welcomes you into the bar area to order a drink, or catch the game. While the main dining area has a family-oriented atmosphere. There's even a banquet room (picture not included). The service was great. With all of the great food and laughter we lost track of time, and stayed until almost closing!
