It's great to see a restaurant back in this building again! The staff are very friendly and we were seated immediately. We both ordered the salmon dinner which came with salmon, vegetables, your choice of potato and soup or salad. The food was pretty good. The salmon was slightly dry, but had great seasoning to it. The waitress gave me their brown sausage gravy with the garlic mashed potatoes. The carrots were nice and tender. It was a great experience and we're eagerly wanting to go back and try the fish and chips!

Great food and even better service which is hard to do when everything tastes homemade. Darrelyn is always our server and goes above and beyond every time. Tonight is super busy and she still has hit every mark. Chicken noodle soup and a western burger for me. My wife had chicken noodle soup and French dip with cheese. Definitely a small town feel that I love.

I ordered the breakfast burrito with the sausage gravy, it was amazing! I would say it was definitely the best breakfast burrito that I've had! The service was interesting to say the least lol. I'm hoping it's just because they are a new restaurant and getting the hang of things. I will definitely be going back for another yummy burrito!

Dropped by for breakfast. Looked very busy and it was 10:00 am. Were greeted by three different people and in our seats in a minute. Very clean and rustic. Nice place. Friendly servers. Fast delivery of the food and drinks. The issues we had were with the food. The country potatoes with veggies were probably very tasty. The vegetables were still raw. The server fixed it quickly with a new batch of potatoes. My hash browns were barely cooked. Just barely browned and barely hot enough. Commented that the short order cook needs to do a stint at the Waffle House! They know hash browns better than anyone. We will return. Many menu items to sample. The service along makes it worth the trip. The eggs were cooked as ordered. The French toast special has more than I could eat and rich with cinnamon. Just wish I could have picked real maple syrup. I can bring my own as long as there is not a corking charge!

In this game of obsession with fusion food, vegan, caveman? diets and unrecognizable food served in tiny portions and exorbitantly priced, there was The Outpost. The Outpost is located at the butt end of a one horsetrough town of Grantsville. With a down to earth attitude, they served a good old fashion fare that is delightful. The burgers are definelty something to write home about, nice, thick, and juicy. Their country fried stake was also cooked to perfection and served with its perfect accompaniment of mashed potatoes and veggies. A perfect place to try and comeback for more.

The Outpost is one of our favorite Friday night spots. It’s small, cozy, and has that comfortable, hometown feel that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. Their weekend prime rib is a must. We plan our visits around it because it’s that good. I usually add a grilled shrimp skewer to my meal, and it never disappoints. Everything comes out hot, flavorful, and cooked exactly right. The service is always friendly and attentive without being over the top. You can tell they care about the food and the people they’re serving. Great food, great service, and a place we genuinely look forward to going back to. Highly recommend if you’re anywhere near Grantsville.

The food was really good. I had chicken fried chicken, the others in my party had a reuben sandwich, and one had what was supposed to be the special of corned beef. Instead it was roast beef. It was so very good! It was serendipitous. The salad was good (we perfer not having do many "fancy lettuce" leaves. Too bitter),the chicken noodle soup was good. We took home a couple pieces of key lime pie... we were stunned to find out that each slice is over $9! That's a crazy high price. I could buy a whole key lime pie for that at the grocery store. It's good though. Plan to share because it's very rich. Almost like sweet key lime butter. For 3 of us to eat it was $85.

This is actually good diner food. I had the breakfast potatoes, and I asked them to make them crispy which they did, the sausage is perfectly cooked. The eggs were perfectly cooked. There are other diners in the area that do not compare at all. Definitely recommend anyone in the area or anyone outside of the Tooele area who wants great diner food.
