Hidden gem, this place is a golden gem. Food is delicious and staff is very helpful.everything is delicious. Crawfish, shrimp, crabs done right. Keep it up.
The seafood gumbo is really good. I also had the crab cake pasta, the crab cakes were very bland, I had to drown them in the sauce for flavor. We also ordered the grill chicken sandwich BLAND, absolutely no seasoning on the chicken. The cashier/servers/cook were all very pleasant. This wasn't my first visit, I just always get the boiled seafood which is always DELICIOUS!!!
This place has the BEST crawfish I've ever had anywhere. Everything else is fantastic too. Get the soft shell crabs and onion rings. The O rings aren't the scrappy frozen ones or the greasy battered ones, they're just perfect! We go back time and time again when were in the area even though its about 30 minutes out of town
The crabs!!!! OH MY GOODNESS they were so good. And the owners are amazing, always checking on us. Very personable and down to earth. Low Key atmosphere! Excellent place!
Greatest hole in the wall ever !!! Cant beat the prices and service. And the selection is great. The ladies are so nice and walk around making sure everything is as best as possible.
The Seafood Pot in Destrehan delivers straight-up Cajun comfort. The gumbo is thick, rich, and probably stirred with a boat paddle. The hot sausage on a bun? A spicy, greasy masterpiece that’ll light your mouth up and leave you smiling. Messy, delicious, no regrets.
Talk about good, good seafood. Good to the last bite. Always great pricing, friendly people and you can even have an adult beverage while you're here. Catch them during the week and there's an all-you-can-eat crawfish special; I think it's on Wednesdays. Crawfish prices are fair; they serve other seafood, po-boys, sandwiches etc. I like it I like it I like it.
Amazing food and service. The place was packed, and I can see why. If you are in the area this is a must try!
