Trattoria By Italian Kitchen

Came here for a birthday dinner celebration. We were a party of five adults and ordered beef carpaccio with burrata, mozzarella carrozza, zucchini and stracciatella hummus, fritto misto, margherita pizza, and truffle spaghetti. We also had some drinks, including Pinot, jasmine guava iced tea, and another glass of wine. The total came to $287, including tip. Overall, we had a good experience at Trattoria. All of the food was good except for the hummus, which we didn’t enjoy as much. The service was friendly and efficient. The indoor seating area was full when we arrived, so we were seated on the heated patio, which had a very nice ambiance. Parking was easy since it’s in the basement, but we were confused about which location to select on the machine, and no one at the restaurant could help us, so we figured it out ourselves. Trattoria is on the pricey side, but we would definitely go back for a special occasion.

On December 31st, we had a fantastic night at Trattoria By Italian Kitchen. The ambiance, service, and the value of our NewYear Eve platter was beyond expectations. Our server Hassan provided superb service with his attentiveness. He made our experience enjoyable and fun. Food was delicious and plentiful, in fact we could not finish all the food on the platter. We took the leftovers home, and the food was just as tasty next day. The Tiramisu's presentation was one of a kind, as they assemble it at the table "delicious". Overall the best rexperience; top notch manager, top notch server, and delicious food.

We went to Trattoria last week for my daughter’s 11th bday and it was an amazing experience for her. They went above and beyond to make her feel special starting with a happy birthday note waiting on the table when we arrived, and free dessert with candle at the end. The food was amazing as always and the drinks ( alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails) were delicious. I have been here 5-6 times, but first time being seated at the covered patio. Not only it is beautiful, it’s also very warm and enjoyable. The ambiance is classy but cozy. Loved it! I would like to say special thanks to Michael and Christina. They both were engaging, nice and attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go again.

I had a great birthday celebration here, and it’s apparently surprised me. Every food we had was delicious and looking so perfect. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. I had a wonderful night with my friends here and will absolutely come back. Highly recommended!

We had the pleasure of meeting Michael, the owner, who was incredibly welcoming and took the time to chat with us. He even served our tiramisu himself—a lovely personal touch, especially since it’s made right at the table. Our server, Andrejs, was outstanding. He was extremely attentive, guided us through the menu, and offered excellent recommendations. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish.

My boyfriend and I had the most incredible dining experience at Trattoria tonight. From the moment we sat down, everything was flawless. We started with the Caesar salad and the carbonara breadstick, and WOW — both were absolute standouts. The Caesar was crisp, perfectly dressed, and so fresh, while the carbonara breadstick was something I’ve never seen before: warm, cheesy, savory, and unbelievably unique. It’s the kind of appetizer you keep thinking about long after the meal is over. For mains, I ordered the short rib ravioli, and it was pure comfort in a bowl. The pasta was delicate, the filling was rich and deeply flavourful, and it was served piping hot. Every bite was delicious and had this beautiful balance of savoury short rib and silky sauce..truly a memorable dish. My boyfriend had the truffle spaghetti, and it was just as impressive. The truffle was aromatic without being overpowering, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the whole dish came together in a creamy, flavourful, luxurious way. We kept stealing bites from each other’s plates because everything was that good. For drinks, I had the Trattoria Passion, which was bright, refreshing, and honestly one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time. My boyfriend’s Aperol Spritz tasted authentically Italian — perfectly balanced, bubbly, and crisp. The service is where Trattoria really shines. Our servers name was Augustine. She was so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. We had so many staff members pass by our table with kind words, great energy, and genuine hospitality. Our water and drinks were always topped up without us even noticing. The manager even came over to chat, and he was incredibly friendly, personable, and welcoming. It truly felt like they cared about making our experience special. Overall, Trattoria exceeded every expectation amazing food, incredible drinks, and service that makes you feel valued. We will definitely be back! Highly, highly recommend.

Absolutely raving about this place! I came here with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday near the end of November, and from start to finish it was an unforgettable experience. The energy in the room was electric, the vibes were immaculate, and the food was next-level—so delicious and incredibly authentic. The wait staff truly made the night shine (shoutout to Steve and Hassan), and the owner Michael went above and beyond to make the evening feel extra special. He even made our tiramisu for us A great dining experience! I’ll be back without question. Highly, highly recommend!
