Live near here and never knew this place existed. Great smash burgers with fries and really cold draft beer! Delicious!!! Even the music they play is great! This place will be a favorite for us! The staff is both attentive and friendly!
Twisted Cat Tavern seems to be a popular place to hang out in the area. Due to which it can get pretty loud inside the restaurant. There is also an outside seating area if you want to avoid it. The food is pretty flavorful. Tried the bolognese without really reading the description and it was more Asian than actual bolognese. Loved it though! Jalapeños eggrolls were not really for me. The mixed drinks can be a hit or miss. Overall, a great (and loud) hangout spot with flavorful food and very friendly service - if that’s the kind of vibe you are going for!
We just finished shopping at the outlet mall and wanted something to eat before we head home. I pulled up Google maps and this place was listed among the first 10 restaurants nearby. Menu looked good so we gave it a try. And so glad we did! He had the Mac-Rib and I had the Lazy Cat. Both were excellent!!! Vibe in the restaurant was great. We will definitely come back when we are up in Leesburg!!!
Me and Sara went to Leesburg for a short two-day trip to check out a few wineries in the area, and we randomly found this place on a Google search. Stop what you are doing now, and go check it out. This is one of the best restaurants we've been to in a while. Seating is limited - maybe 10 tables and 15 seats at the bar - and it did get a little crowded, but it is totally worth it, and everyone there was happy and friendly. We went for the first time on Monday night around 5ish to grab a couple of drinks and some snacks. First, the cocktails are fantastic. I started with the espresso martini, and then got their spicy marg. Both were excellent. For food, we started with the Cheesy Beefy Onion, which was an excellent french onion-type soup. Then we got the Grilled Cheese Roll-ups, which came with a side of tomato bisque for dipping - this may be the only way I eat grilled cheese from here on out. We then split the BBC Cat, which was one of the best burgers I had all year. The habanero bacon jam was the perfect mix of spicy, salty, and sweet, and the side of beer cheese for dipping completely changed the burger game for me. On Tuesday, we couldn't stop talking about it, so after hitting a winery and Shutter's on King downtime, we had to come back for a drink or two. I got The Walker old-fashioned, which was one of the best old-fashioneds I've ever had, and I've had a lot of them. If you like Johnny Walker and old-fashioneds, don't think twice. They have awesome swag, too. Sara got the Cat Hoodie and the Cat Beenie, both of which she loves. I got one of their trucker hats, which is better quality than most hats you'll find in a Dick's Sporting Goods. Finally, the service was fantastic. The bartenders are attentive and personable, frequently engaging in conversation with us or other patrons. I also didn't see one person wait more than a couple seconds before getting served or at least acknowledged in some way. And you never had to ask for more water - if you turned your back for more than a couple seconds, you're water glass would be refilled when you turned back around. Our only regret is that we live in the Baltimore area, but if we're ever even close to Leesburg again, we're definitely going out of our way to come back. Go now, what are you waiting for?
Great spot! Came here for brunch and I had the avocado toast which was piled high with fresh ingredients and great flavor! The French toast was great as well as the cheesesteak with garlic (?) dusted fries. The portions were huge and a great value for the quality and taste! Great service as well! We’ll definitely be back!
The Corn Ribs were muy delicioso . Belly and Brussels were really good as well . (I would not get them together again because the the savory of the sauce on the corn makes the Brussels too sweet in my opinion) . Service was great! Got an apple cider mule to top off the night
Food was fantastic! The corn ribs are a MUST & along with the grilled cheese appetizer! Burger with thick cut bacon was delicious! Should’ve listened to my wife and came here days ago while here on vacation.
Great smash burger. Wonderful outdoor seating. The fried green beans are amazing.
