⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Detroit’s Best-Kept Secret – A Must-Try! Woodward Bistro is nothing short of amazing! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and full of great vibes—perfect for a night out or snapping some fun photos in their stylish setup. Now, let’s talk about the food—WOW! I had the Shrimp & Alfredo Chicken Pasta, and it was absolutely spectacular.Every bite was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and you could tell the chef put heart and soul into every dish. This is hands down the best food I’ve had in a long time! And the customer service? OUTSTANDING. The staff was beyond welcoming, attentive, and made the entire experience even better. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the food and service, but Woodward Bistro does it effortlessly. If you’re in Detroit, do yourself a favor and check this place out. This hidden gem won’t stay a secret for long! Can’t wait to come back!

This will be one of my new go to spots in the morning. Great food and service. My bartender Tisha was very warm and welcoming. Also she kept me with a warm cup of coffee and cold glass of ice water. The home fries was made perfect along with everything else. I loved the banana pudding pancakes . They are a must try. I'll be back to try the cinnamon pancakes or peach cobbler waffles ...

5/15/24 We have been coming to Woodward bistro for a little over six months. We mainly come for breakfast/brunch. I usually get the skillet breakfast or the chicken and waffles. Both dishes are extremely delicious and the portions very ample. The server, I believe her name Cash is always very attentive and cordial. My major complaint is that it takes forever to get your food. I believe there is only one chef and 1 server. Thet appear to have alot if take out orders. This time we waited forever, but was told in advance it would take some time for our food to get to us because of the takeout orders. Adding to the long, wait the consistency of the food and service was way off. We were the only sitdown patrons there. Coffee was offered an ordered. It had been sitting out for a minute.and want fresh or good. My skillet, Breakfast which I chose bacon for my protein was lacking. They didn’t have mushrooms, ( which I was told prior too) and the bacon was skimpy, and limp I had to search for it because I hardly saw any. I had to ask for my toast which was cold when I did get it. My friend ordered the Classic breakfast. Her protein was bacon again. It was not crispy and very limp. She had to ask for jelly. The service and the food was not up to par this time. I even got a drink from the bar.! I know restaurants have off days and this was one of them. But it Should not have been for a $35 breakfast. I usually rave about The Woodrow Bistro. It’s right in our neighborhood. It’s convenient and we try to support small businesses in the neighborhood. We’re gonna give it a break for a while and go back to it in a couple of months. We’re hoping the good service and excellent food will be back. I still encourage people to support it.

The food was good, they give you good portion sizes. The staff was friendly. The music was a little too loud for my taste, however it appeared that someone was having a party there when I went so that may be why the music was so loud. But other than that, the wait time for the food wasn't too bad, everything was clean and neat. It's a pretty nice size venue with dine in seating and a dance floor. I plan on going back if for no other reason the fried green tomatoes were delicious, I have to try those again. Lol

Who knew that you could find this in Highland Park. The level of customer service, the atmosphere was fabulous! Friendly, smiling and accommodating. The bar was well stocked! All of that but nothing compared to the food! Chef Desmond is a well kept secret! OMG! The spinach dip was something more than I could have ever imanaged. The seafood pasta was great. It was great! I cannot say enough great things about this spot. This was my third time here and rhe service has been consistent each time. Great job Woodward Bistro.

Oh my goodness!!! It’s hard to even know where to begin, this place is a whole vibe. From the moment we walked in they had good music playing through their fantastic sound system, and after finding a seat we were greeted with waters. Our server was incredible. She was incredibly attentive, super friendly, and when she found out it was my friends bday she went above and beyond for us with Cinnamon Toast Crunch shots, champagne for the bday girl, and a special bday goodie bag. We were blown away by her kindness to make it extra special for our girl!! As far as the food, it was out of this world. I had a skillet with the Cajun home fries, chicken sausage, spinach and feta and absolutely fell in love. The portions were huge and so filling. We also ordered banana pudding pancakes to share and they were melt in your mouth dreamy. Everyone was thrilled with our service, our food, and the general atmosphere. We are from out of town, so we are so grateful to know where to go next time we are in the area. Found our new brunch spot for sure!! Shoutout, you guys are the best! Definitely stop in and see for yourself, I’m looking forward to going back for dinner but also more breakfast as well
