$7 for a LARGE lunch. Women owned business by “the Queen of pupusas,”Doña Azucena herself. Cheap, delicious comida y bebidas típicas in a casual setting with fast service (order at the counter for take out or sit & order to dine in). Many vegetarian options (squash & cheese pupusa is GREAT). Order a side of crema salvadoreña for a perfect accompaniment to your meal or snack. Pupusas are the size of your hand, so order 1-3 each. They have Tabasco on the tables and serve a very mild sauce (+ coleslaw) with every order, so BYO hot sauce if you’re craving spicy . Desserts are delicious and only $2. MUST ORDER: squash & cheese pupusa, taco de carne ($3.5 & HUGE) empanada de plátano con leche dessert ($2 and not too sweet). Shoutout to Angela for making me feel so welcome and helping me practice Spanish (she used to be an elementary school teacher)! I’ll be here weekly

Today I visited this restaurant and it was very nice. The atmosphere was nice and calm the manager Leticia, waiter Alba and Santos were amazing delivering customer service. The food was wonderful with no complaints. Everyone was nice and caring. Would recommend for any new people coming. The manager was very helpful coming to everybody and personally asking if there were any issues and would fix them right away. 5 stars!

The papusas here are amazing! The one tricky thing is it’s very hard to find parking in this area. The food also took a while to prepare but it was worth it. I really loved the plantains with the cream and beans. I ordered the bean and cheese papusa which was very tasty. I think about 3 papusas is enough to fill me up but with the plantains I think I only needed two. The staff was very polite and everything was good.

This is such an amazing place where do I start. The waitress "Alba, Nais, Leticia & Jasmine" and everyone were so respectful and professional. The food taste so good. They kept the tables clean throughout me and my adorable son entire lunch. The waitress constantly checked on us and was perfect with answering any questions. She even asked us if we would like take some dessert home. Will definitely return back to this amazing restaurant. Wish the restaurant to be bigger other than that i love the service and Thank you to Nais, Leticia and Jasmine. Respectfully, Follow me on YouTube: #TeamWithERVING

Great atmosphere and food. Very authentic. I got three bean and cheese pupusas and a Kolashampan to drink. I dare say they were the best I've had. Also some of the best prices for a meal that I have seen in the Ballston area.

Wonderful pupusas at a great price (~$2 each). Servers were very kind and attentive. Music is great. Will definitely be back!

Been brought here with the fam as a kid and I still visit when in the area for the pupusas. While the pupusas and tamales here are second to none the main courses could be better.

My Honduran coworker brought me to the fresh, cheesy pupusas of Doña Azuceña back in January and they were incredible.
