This could be one of the Texas Panhandles best kept secrets! In the middle of nowhere you just come across the Gageby Store. I was working in this area and some co workers introduced me to this outfit. I’m sure glad they did! The food is great, the service was outstanding! It is a very interesting old building that I’m sure holds a lot of history. If you in the area I recommended taking the drive to visit this place for lunch.
The sandwiches are great! These are a working man’s sandwich, plenty of meat! Service is great too. Don’t let the outside put you off, it’s well worth the stop, especially if you’re hungry.
Love this place and the folks who work there. Food is always hot, fresh, and tastes great! Highly recommend

EAT HERE! Can I give more stars? The food is fantastic, the service couldn’t be better. Do not drive by or let the exterior fool you - this is a true gem. Did I say how good the food is?? When food is created with love, you know it. And homemade ice cream created daily.
Talk about a sandwich!! This is a chicken salad sandwich. Also ordered a tuna salad wrapped with lettuce and was really good!! Ordered a supreme cauliflower pizza to go, and I'll say they are NOT stingy with their toppings at all!! Perfectly crusted edges and full of flavor!! Would totally visit again!
I was just driving by and didn’t know what I was getting into. I opened the door of the old storefront thinking I was going to buy some dusty expired m&m’s in exchange for taking a nap in the parking lot and instead the doorway of the old store was a wormhole into a beautiful cafe! What a surprise! It was lovely and the sandwich I got was fantastic.
I was challenged a while back to try my nemesis...Bologna. Holy mother of all that is good! I've now come to forget my utter disdain of the non appetizing slab of meat.This one was a perfectly cooked slab of smokey, fried, meat gloryousness with a jalepeno ranch dressing that hardly reminds you of the former meat mound. If you're in the area please don't blink in the vicinity of the Gageby Store or you'll miss it. Go in pick something, it doesn't matter what, and have a 5⭐ lunch! Don't forget to tip graciously...they deserve it.
