Love the Wheatmarket. Great sandwiches freshly made with quality ingredients, a variety of homemade soups that changes every day & always at least one hot entree available even when going for a later lunch. They have specialty food items that you can browse while they get your food ready. Limited seating available but it's well set up so you don't feel like you are sitting on top of one another.... We especially like to order our sandwiches to go in the summer and go have a little picnic in one of the many picturesque areas of Chester
The wheat market is an absolutely wonderful staple of Chester! Unbelievable soups, specials, and cookies! One of our favorite spots there is and it goes way beyond their amazing food! From the beginning Joan, Dennis, Tammy, and the team made my wife and I feel like family! We love you guys, never change!
Always a great pick for great sandwiches and local fair. Selection of chips drinks and local novelty and small business creations like syrups and dressing etc follow on FB to see specials and special announcements. $CASH check only. Parking can be challenging in the summer
I love the Tammy's Favorite sandwich with turkey and cranberry. The cookies call out their siren song when I pick up my order, so I always end up leaving with one of two of them as well.
Mondays are meatloaf day. With mashed potatoes. Huge portions at a great price
AMAZING!! been going here since I was a kid. Love the sandwiches, soups, sides, honestly everything. the potato salad is so good as well as the mushroom cream soup highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area !!
Found this sweet shop while out for a day adventure. The lobster bisque was perfection on a cold rainy day, my daughter said she loved the chicken and rice soup, and we also had the turkey and herb cheese on a roll. Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful. I got a huge chocolate chip cookie to take home and it was great too. The ladies were very sweet and helpful. The sit down space is inviting and cozy. Highly recommend you check this place out.
My wife and I live in Philadelphia but every time we come to the Chester area we make a stop at wheat market. Staff is very friendly and the sandwiches are great in flavor and in price. Also love the selection of pantry items and snacks/drinks. 10/10!
