The staff are all very friendly and the burger was excellent. It was made to order and fresh. The price was great for the combo meal. Excited to try a poboy next time.

Very professional and clean the parking is completely free and it was shed with a cool spring breeze. The staff was friendly and helpful they acknowledged me as soon as I came through to order. I love that boiled seafood and it's affordable. I will definitely be back with my family and friends

Fast friendly service. Food made fresh to order. Prices weren't bad for the portion sizes that I received. Everyone was nice. The restaurant was clean. My only complaint would be I could have used a little more mayo on my poboy and I'm a fry lover so more fries please. But overall great experience and I will be back again.

Best shrimp po boy! The shrimp were big and flavorful. I ordered a hamburger, it was large and juicy, and cooked to order. Their boiled crawfish were big and seasoned to perfection. The staff was friendly and patient because I had a large order. I can't wait to try their other menu items.

I’ve been coming to this spot for a year now; it’s just something about the Shrimp Poboy that keeps me coming back! The shrimps are seasoned to perfection. Ingredients are always fresh. Prices are reasonable. The owner is always nice and welcoming toward me, truly a humbled gentleman.

So I purchased the crawfish to go. I wasn't pleased with my purchase and I was not able to communicate that to the Restaurant until the next day due to them closing. When I expressed my issue I was met with great customer service, kindness and a resolution. I was able to bring the crawfish back and was offered a cash refund. However, I chose something else on the menu at equal value and my choice was easily accepted with more kindness and pure effort to make sure I was a happy customer. The inconvenience I experienced was apologized for and rectified with ease. For this reason I will always come back. BTW the meat pies are delicious

New restaurant just opened. Had to try their shrimp poboy. Big sandwich, tons of shrimp.....but it lacked something. They need some fantastic Cajun-bred sauces. Something more than just catsup right out of the bottle. When providing lettuce, give more than one thin leaf of lettuce to hold the catsup... Also something more than just regular French fries...every sandwiche shop in Baton Rouge can make a plain poboy bun, and fry up some shrimp and give them catsup bottles or packets. Differentiate......have spiced Cajun rice or shredded onions fried and serve like a bloom with petals...using that same cajun-bred sauces... Be unique..give customers something to remember..great shrimp, good quality buns...but very little else... This will not bring people back. The next time I get a shrimp poboy, I will bring it home, put some Tony's seasoning on the shrimp and also use Tiger Sauce instead of plain catsup and place a handful of shredded lettuce on the sandwiches to hold the tiger sauce. Then cook up some tater tots sprinkle Tony's on it and use the Tiger sauce to dip them into..maybe have a side if leftover jambalaya... now that would be a lunch. Sorry Bayou, but Baton Rouge is blessed with great eating places and you can get great poboys at a number of places....you must differentiate or you will close. I wished you had some of your boiled seafood available as what you did have smelled fantastic...do the same on your sandwiches... I will try back in a few weeks and re-review your food.

The food was made to order and it was delicious. I can honestly say it reminds me of home. The shrimp were very fresh and a decent size. I felt welcomed and the owner remembered me from my first visit. I will definitely be back.
