My wife and I went there yesterday to celebrate Valentine's Day. We usually celebrate it early. We went in and sat down next to the fireplace, which was great. When the waitress came, I explained to her that I have a shellfish and tree nut allergy. They told me straight out that they are not used to people coming in with allergies, but they went above and beyond to make sure my food was not around anything I'm allergic to. And they refused to give me cornbread, which is around tree nuts, which is awesome. I asked a question about a sauce I had never heard of, so I asked the waitress what was in it. She didn't know, so the owner of the place came to our table and promised nothing in that special sauce would trigger my allergy. The waitress was very nice, the owner was great, and it was very clean. I will recommend anyone to go there. I'll definitely be back next time with the kids.
First time having brunch here. No waiting to get seated unlike a lot of other places in Dover on Saturday. Food and service were excellent. Eggs Benedict done right. Home fries plentiful and tasty. Biscuits and gravy great too. Coffee was okay but a little on the weak side.
I enjoyed the buttered lobster roll. A local friend with us preferred the buttered lobster roll to be warm, however. I thought it was good cold, but then again I'm from "out west" as they say. My husband had the traditional version with mayo. The clam chowder and the lobster bisque were also good!
Want to hear with my family for lunch and let me tell you… This is the place to get a steak and cheese. I just got the traditional steak and cheese with onions and it was absolutely excellent. It even reheated well because I didn’t finish it all at the restaurant. Their poutine fries are also notable and great for sharing, but no judgment if you want them all to yourself, I totally understand.
Came here for Christmas Eve and it was an awesome place to visit in this night. We had some really good holiday cocktails and a nice guy, Eric, bought a round for the entire bar and that was really cool. The food was incredible. We had a lot of the cheese steak egg rolls, putin, the best garlic parm wings and a chicken bomb sandwich to go with waffles fries. This was exactly the Christmas Eve we were looking for. Thanks Rachel for a lovely time.
If you are in the mind for a drink and a view and some live music, then this hommie establishment is for you. Set on the edge of Cocheco River on the backside of Dover, you might wonder at the variety of sea vessels moored below along the docks; marveling at their opportunity to reach the ocean from so far inland. An order of draft beer including a mix of IPA's will not empty your wallet before the evening arrives and the live music ends. The outside deck like atmosphere doesn't last when fall temperatures drop, but their is ample inside bar and table seating to suit your needs. If you decide on Dovers pub crawl, you will be stopping in here, as the last stop. Order some grinds
This is one of Favourite places right now great atmosphere great food. We come here all the time and unfortunately the service Abby is horrible, take to long to bring drinks and my food order is not correct and the she wants to be ate with me on the order. I am not pleased this time. Next time I will not be letting her serve me. I will come back.
Service was wonderful. Friendly and helpful. Chili was great also the cornbread. Great price!! Wings was great good amount of sauce. Onion rings was ok. Taste little greasy. Nice new outside deck. The band 3 arlam lite up place. Great band selection.
