The food was so good I forgot to take a picture. The string beans was not my cup of tea. The sweet potato casserole and the corn pudding make you want to slap somebody, not my mama but somebody.
It was hot. The food was WONDERDUL, the tea was the best. A couple.of flies hung around, but that was so many people were coming and going for such a small place. Staff was short, so waitress did it all: welcoming, serving, taking orders, and cashier. She was running ragged. But I will definitely go back.
We were attending an event in the area and came across Ella’s. We entered not realizing they only accepted cash. The customers and wait staff were so friendly and several people heard us say we only had a small amount of cash and they offered to help cover our tab, if needed. Because of the very affordable prices were we able to cover the cost and leave a tip. Thank you to Ella, the people you hire and the wonderful neighbors who dine there.
If you've never gone or think about going, you ought to go because it's a great place to eat.
Oh my gosh, my husband and I stopped here on our way to visit family further south. I only found it from Google maps or wouldn't have known about it, but we are SO glad we did! The food was FANTASTIC, friendly service and it's the cutest place. We will absolutely be back, and would highly recommend it!
Excellent country cooking, large portions and friendly service. Well worth a stop if you are in the area. Had the hamburger steak and gravy hand pattied boiled potatoes and fries. Very tasty. Happy eats. :)
First time trying this place and loved the coastal feel and homemade food taste. Price was great! Highly recommend
If you love the little mom&pop restaurants that is a little out of the beaten path- this is the place in Windsor NC to go !! Excellent southern country food and many options of seafood and steaks ! Check their facebook page for daily specials !
