Our 1st time to visit & it didn't disappoint! Our food was hot & fresh, the batter on the fish & the hushpuppies was so fine & light, different from what we've used to but very good!
A GREAT little place to dine and eat. There wasn't ANYTHING I can say negative about this place. Food was excellent, service was also. My husband ordered the ALL YOU CAN EAT CATFISH. They weren't kidding, they started him out with 3 whole catfish and when he got through with his second one, they put 2 more in the fryer and was served fresh following his 3 one. When they say ALL YOU CAN EAT they mean it. The views of the mountain around it was breathtaking along with the creek and pond. I definitely recommend this place.
Terrific experience. We travelled to Hickman county for a high school basketball game and stopped in for an early supper. Hands down the best fried catfish I’ve ever had. Great atmosphere and overall cleanliness.
Surprisingly good burgers, fries, onion rings. Popcorn shrimp if good. Catfish and traditional sides are very good. It’s not fancy, but they put out some good food.
Awesome place to stop in at Centerville, Tennessee off TN-100/TN-48 through town for really good seafood, especially for Tennessee River Catfish, really good hush puppies, and especially shrimp. Good cold drinks as well, very friendly staff and really cool atmosphere. Will return again! Love it!!!! They also have, bbq, chicken, and hamburgers as well.
First time at this locally owned restaurant and it's on my gotta try again when in the area. Went with their really big cheeseburger with fries. Fast service, meal as ordered in a more than you can eat size, but I did. Great prices, friendly service and a hometown feel!
You know a restaurant is "Top Notch" when they go beyond the call of duty! I'm referring to Fish Camp in Centerville , TN! They not only opened the door to their wonderful restaurant for our 20+ Birthday Party Guest BUT they put the honoree's name on their sign out front, wishing her a Happy Birthday! They prepared a wonderful area for the party to be held and the Hostess & Servers were the best! The kitchen prepared all the food to perfection and at the individual request of each person attending. I wish I could give 10 Stars! Thank you Fish Camp! You are The Best!
This little gem was everything — and so much more than I could have ever imagined! The drive to get here alone is breathtaking, and the restaurant itself feels like a peaceful reward at the end of the road. We ordered the full order catfish fillet, the special of the day (grilled chili tilapia), and two desserts — the homemade hot fudge cake and the pecan pie. As for the desserts, while both were delicious, the pecan pie stole my heart. It was truly the best pecan pie I have ever had in my life! Now, the catfish fillet… OMFG — perfectly golden, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, seasoned with love. Just heavenly. And I can’t forget to mention the hush puppies! For those who don’t know, hush puppies are deep-fried cornmeal balls — crispy on the outside, fluffy and soft inside — a Southern staple that you simply have to try. Honestly, after tasting these, I’m inspired to try making hush puppies at home (though I’m sure they won’t come close to these). Learning the history of Fish Camp made the experience even more special. Back in 2010, during the devastating floods, this entire place was underwater. They had to rebuild everything from scratch. Standing there today, it’s hard to imagine this place ever not being here — it’s truly a blessing it still is. It’s more than a restaurant; it’s a story of resilience, community, and love. On top of the amazing food and the heartwarming atmosphere, the parking lot area is so beautiful that it turned into an unexpected dreamy photoshoot location. And as a cherry on top, we met the adorable geese couple who come back every year with their new babies! An employee even let us feed them — a simple but unforgettable moment that made my heart so full. I will forever return for the catfish, the hush puppies, and the pecan pie! Thank you, Fish Camp, for giving us not just a meal, but an experience I will cherish forever.
