Nautical Nellies Steak & Seafood House

I can’t say enough about the exceptional service we experienced while dining at Nautical Nellies on Christmas Day. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by two lovely hostesses whose inviting energy set the tone for our visit. I wasn’t having the best day, and one of the hostesses enthusiastically complimented my makeup—such a small gesture, but it truly turned my day around. Every server we encountered was polite and kind, but our server, Krystal, was absolutely phenomenal. She took exceptional care of us and was genuinely enthusiastic about making our dining experience special. Her kindness, attentiveness, and caring nature made the entire experience truly enjoyable. I also really appreciate that Nautical Nellies remains open on Christmas and makes a traditional turkey dinner accessible for people. While some restaurants significantly increase prices on holidays, Nautical Nellies offered a delicious special holiday meal at a very reasonable price. Bravo to the entire team for their generosity, professionalism, and holiday spirit!

10/10 recommend. Service was great. Nice ambiance. Food was even better. We couldn’t believe how creamy the oysters were. Our steak was cooked to perfection. The truffle fries were *chefs kiss* though be warned, the portions are GENEROUS. I’m at home now trying to recreate the Brussel sprouts!!

We tried the New York striploin, filet mignon, and the surf & turf, and next time I’m definitely going straight for the surf & turf. So good. The oysters were super fresh too, and the whole place had a great vibe. Ended up having such a lovely dinner here!

We were visiting Victoria from Saskatchewan for a wedding, and one of the days we had to ourselves we wanted to go for fresh seafood. We were recommended to Nautical Nellie’s and boy were we glad! This spot was phenomenal for a nice dinner out! With it also being so close to the ocean, it was so phenomenal. The food was exquisite. Will definitely come again!!

I thought our appetizers, entrees and dessert was delicious but I find it was overly priced! Our food looked amazing but my main entry was not very hot to me. Staff was accommodating and we sat where we can see the view of the wharf.

I am here for work from Nova Scotia and the food here was amazing. The steak was melt in your mouth. The service was awesome. From the minute you walk in the door to the time you have to leave, you are treated amazing by everyone. You can't come to Victoria and not dine here, it's a must. Bon appetit.

We was visited Victoria for 2 nights and try to find a nice restaurant for lunch. We found "Nautical" in Google Map and decided to give it a try. We got a very nice and warm welcome. We chosen to sit outside, because it was a sunny day. We had a wonderful view of the harbor. We didn't wait too long for the food. The food was really nice. We enjoyed very much.

We’ve been coming to Victoria for years but this was our 1st time ever eating at Nautical Nellies. And it most certainly will not be our last! It was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Everything was perfectly prepared and Melissa N. was a fantastic server. She was kind and attentive. We got lucky with finding a parking spot directly in-front of the restaurant; however there’s 2 parking lots near by. We booked a reservation which we’re glad we did. Because it was really busy but there didn’t seem to have a wait. We ate here on a Thursday evening. Not in the photos below is the bread that we ordered and it was also absolutely delicious! For how busy it was, it was very quiet which was really nice. So we were able to chat without the need to “yell” or speak loudly. Made for a really comfortable meal. Truthfully this place would be a fantastic date night or family dinner. This 100% will be where we eat the next time we’re in Victoria.
