Food was great, service was great. Definitely a casual seafood dining place. Do not go if you are expecting upscale dining. It's very casual & comfortable. We went for my son's birthday & the only disappointment was that they didn't sing or embarrass him - much to his relief! We will be back!
Omg our new favorite place!!!! AMAZING!!! The best crawfish I've ever had. We've went twice!! I can't wait to go again!!! I've had the shrimp and crab legs as well. I tried Cajun and it was just the best!!! The restaurant decorating is really cool too!!

Delicious Crab! We visited The Crab Barrack at a non-peak time, and were greeted with smiles and seated quickly. Our order included a couple of fried shrimp baskets and the Barrack Combo with shrimp and snow crab legs. Also added slaw, hush puppies, and cheesesticks. While I found the sides and appetizer to be average at best, the fried shrimp was cooked perfectly in a tasty batter. But where they really hit was the Combo, the snow crab and shrimp was served with red potatoes, sausage, and (crazy good) corn; all were seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Ya'll!!! We landed here after our other choices were closed because of a bad storm. We're so glad we found this little, hidden treasure! The food...amazing. Staff....warm and friendly. Price....decent for the amount of food they give you! Best fried okra...EVER! We will definitely make the 45 minute drive often.
Had the fried catfish and my wife had shrimp boil with an egg. The sauce in her bag was really good. Would try more on this menu for sure.
Got takeout from here last weekend,and it was so freaking good. My order was exactly right and the portions were nice. The fried shrimp was the best I've ever had. It was also our first time trying alligator and it was so good! (Think if chicken and shrimp had a baby) My husband loves the fish and the gumbo was great as well. Can't wait to eat from here again
Decent food and service, but the flavors could be amped up more. My food was delicious and crispy, I was able to eat everything and the house sauce went perfect with my shrimp. The chicken my friend had wasn't as good as the fish.
