The Shack in Houma never disappoints! The snow crab legs were fresh, juicy, and perfectly cooked — and dipping them in the warm butter made it even better. Chill local spot with fast service and great seafood. Definitely a go-to when you’re craving crabs!

Nice atmosphere. Clean restaurant and friendly service. The cream of crab soup was very crabby and the club sandwich with french fries was fresh and delicious. Thanks for everything.
Our waitress was very sweet. She came back to our table multiple times to check on us and refill drinks. Food was great! There was a slight delay for big groups to get seated but the two of us were seated right away. We would definitely go back.
My wife took me on a date to the shack and it was really great time service was fast and the food was delicious. I had to bring some home because I ordered the “The Shack” and my wonderful wife got 6lbs of crawfish and 1 lb of potatoes. We are very happy with our experience, pictures don’t do the food justice. Please go check it out if you are Houma and let them know Paco sent ya! Peace out
Thoroughly enjoyed everything! From the boiled shrimp and snow crab to the Shack platter! The only thing that was missing is the shrimp on the platter. The fried shrimp were like popcorn shrimp, good flavor but would’ve been better if they’d use same shrimp as they boiled! But overall good stuff!
Had a great plate of crawfish, shrimp, and royal reds. Table shared some chargrilled oysters. Service was great, restaurant was clean, beer was cold. Would love to have a spicy option though. All in, very enjoyable.
The crawfish was very good. As we say in “BR” (The Big Raggedy) they were “off the chain”!
