Everything I ordered was hot and fresh tasting. I had the Catfish, Hush Puppies, Baked Potato, and Coleslaw. The New England Clam Chowder was good and not too over- seasoned. Our waitress was very quick to fill our drinks, we never asked for refills. Reasonable prices too. There were quite a few people in the restaurant, but it was not noisy. I could talk across the table in a normal voice. Nice atmosphere.
Better than average. Steak could use some seasoning. Lemon mirange pie fantastic. Server was nice. No bloody Mary on the menu of drink offerings.
My family of 6 visited Tony & George's tonight for dinner. The only waitress in the restaurant Carmen (sorry for misspelling) was such a delight personable and on top of everything! The food was absolutely phenomenal Go see Carmen (sorry for misspelling) and enjoy a great meal in a small town family owned restaurant !
Delicious lunch and great service. The shrimp basket was excellent with fries and coleslaw and the bacon cheeseburger was cooked perfectly. Their French Fries are homemade. We will be back.
Food was hot fresh and full of flavor. We visited 2x in the same week and both times food was excellent and service was excellent.
Great food! Kitchen served entrees before salads/soups so had to take off a star for that novice move but otherwise delicious fare! Two servers for the whole restaurant seemed a bit thin when it was half full. Only one server was old enough to bring alcohol to the tables so there was a delay in that. Crab cakes were perfect!
Tony & George’s Seafood is one of our favorite local restaurants! It’s always a great spot to meet family and enjoy a meal together. Everything I’ve ordered has been consistently delicious. My kids absolutely love the spaghetti, which is always a hit and comes in a portion big enough for three little ones to share. My personal favorite is the pepper steak with gravy and a baked potato—it’s my go-to meal, and it’s always fantastic. The food is comforting, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is welcoming. We’ll definitely keep coming back!
We had dinner tonight. The broiled seafood platter was good overall. The flounder was very well prepared and very flavorful but the shrimp and scallops were just ok. They tasted fine but weren't to the level of the flounder. The crab stuffed shrimp were good and in between the flounder and others. The platter came with fries, hush puppies, slaw and soup (I chose the clam chowder). The fries were good. The slaw seemed to be from a package but was good. The hush puppies were simple and simply good, I recommend them. The clam chowder was different than what I'm used to, but quite good. It was heavy on the potatoes with plenty of clams. Overall I recommend Tony & Georges. It's good comfort food with great service and a nice environment. Give it a try.
