I had visited this place 13 years ago and had been wanting to visit here again and glad that I did. When we got in, the place was empty so it was easy to get seated right away. We were served with a complimentary cup of green tea which was a good touch. We ordered hot and sour soup, chicken corn soup, ginger beef, chicken fried rice and chicken chowmein. Food came out hot, delicious and freshly prepared. Beef was crispy yet tender and juicy. Fried rice had a great balance of all flavors. Noodles were average and I’ve had much better of the chowmein so probably wouldn’t order that again. Portions are very generous. Service was quick, friendly and very attentive. By the time we were leaving, the tables had quickly filled up.

I recently revisited Chongqing and it's been 4 years since I've been here. This time around I was too tired to cook and wanted a great comforting meal after my dental work near by. I ordered the fish maw soup. It was delicious! Then the peeking duck 2 ways, came with the rice crepe and the lettuce wrap. Not bad not bad. It was good. The menu has increased with more items. They are definitely trying to keep up with competition. Overall I was satisfied with my whole order. That soup really hit the spot. Plenty of parking all around here.

I had a wonderful experience at this Chinese restaurant. The flavors were authentic, and the dishes were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of spice. We tried chilli sause fish mixed chowmein and general tso’s chicken. The staff were attentive, polite, and very helpful with recommendations. The restaurant was clean, cozy, and had a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, an excellent place for anyone craving good Chinese food. Highly recommended!

Great little place. Chicken corn soup had no flavour and was disappointing but the chicken black bean with green beans on rice was great. Excellent lunch special combo.

I re-visited ChongQing after more than 20 years. It seems to me that it is now serving a greater variety of food. Peking duck was the highlight of the evening. It was on promotion and only cost around $55 for a Peking duck in 2 ways. I would say it was very good for this price. The skin was crispy and not too greasy, and the stir fried duck meat with lettuce wrap was delicious. My second favorite was the spicy and sour soup. Though I was a little shocked when I saw button mushrooms in it (the authentic one didn't have), it tasted just like the one I used to have. Perhaps the chef is not particularly skillful in making Xiaolungbao. The wrapping was easy too thick. Other than that, I'm happy with the rest of the dishes.

I hadn't dined in here in years; I usually got takeout and was always a little unsatisfied with it. But my wife was craving lettuce wraps so I took her for lunch there today. We also got the hot and sour soup. The food tasted amazing and I was more than pleased with our meal. I told my wife it's one of the best lunches I had in a while. Will be coming back for dine in more often for sure.

We used to visit ChongQing quite often in the past bit haven't been back in 6 years. We visited in January 2025 and had the Duck Lettuce Wrap lunch special with hot and sour soup. Their lunch specials are good steals at $16.95. Also had the Shanghai Chow Mein with pork ($18.95) and the Mongolian Beef ($21.95). The Mongolian beef is a bit spicy with the chili and kinda numbing if you eat the chilies but not too bad. The beef is quite tender tho. UPDATE - September 2025: Revisited for their $16.95 lunch specials which comes with your choice of soup (Hot and Sour or Chicken Corn Soup). We had the Duck Lettuce Wrap and Diced Chicken in Chili Sour and Garlic Sauce with Spinach and Rice. Good flavour on the diced chicken. Also ordered the Shanghai-Style Dumplings ($13.95) unfortunately these dumplings really weren't soupy inside.
