Haywood's Bar & Grill

My daughter, granddaughter & I each ordered a type of burger and none of us were disappointed with our choices. The food was prepared well and we were given ample portions. The fries that came with the burger were golden and crispy. None of us could finish our meal. The service was friendly.

Food was absolutely delicious, waitstaff was prompt and friendly, and the owner is an awesome guy. I came up from SC to visit family, and this was the one place I absolutely had to visit before going home. Highly recommend eating here!! (PS, Try the Willie Stargell sandwich, it's amazing!!)

This place was amazing! No I'm serious! Amazing! When I say this is probably one of the cleanliness bar and grills I've ever been in. The entire place screamed Pittsburgh sports and the decor was great. Now to the food, I had wings and fries and they were cooked to perfection Flavor was great and the services was good too. Im going back in a few days...

Well I don't know what I was excepting when I ordered the "LUKE'S MAC & CHEESE BACON BURGER" but I wasn't expecting this monster of a burger but it was very very good and cooked all the way through even though it was very thick. Also the fries are some of the best I've had locally, very good!

Great food and service. The varsity size Willie Stargell was huge (my wife and I split it. We also got Bubba's Nachos with pulled pork as an appetitizer and split it among 4 of us. Everything was delicious!

I got the seafood pasta which was a good portion sized but i felt it was a little bland it could have used more garlic and white wine. The boneless wings were good i was actually surprised at how meaty they were usually boneless wings are more breading but these were good and their hot sauce wasn't bad the garlic hot was my favorite and the spicy chicken sandwich was good chicken was a good portion sized with good flavor.. also got a Pierogie Pizza to take home it only comes in one size I believe it's a 9 inch but definitely good ..

Having few options locally on a Sunday evening, i decided to try Haywood's. They are open until 9 on Sunday. It was very slow when I arrived around 8:15. Keep in mind that this is essentially just a bar with above average bar food. I sat at the bar. The tender was cordial, personable, and prompt. I had a cold beer with an orange slice that was refreshing. I tried the nachos and a beef taco plate. There was not much steak in the tacos, but what there was tasted great. The nachos didn't seem to be traditional Mexican style. I'm not sure what all was on them besides tomatoes, cheese, chili, and the jalapeños I asked to not receive. It was easy enough to pick them off, and they didn't taint the flavor. I'll probably go back sometime when I'm lazy and not much else is open. I'm not a bar guy and normally only go out to finer dining establishments, but in the lazy pinch I was in tonight, Haywood's did just fine.

Service was great. Food was really good and worth the price. The only thing is the fresh cut fries was soggy.
