First review: Nice restaurant, high quality food, Great service. I ordered salmon salad, salmon was delicious and salad bas fresh, my friends ordered burgers, pizza and shush kabob, they all liked their food. 2nd review: We recently visited this American restaurant again, noticed that the menu is more Italian influenced, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Despite the Italian-focused menu, we decided to try a mix — ordering both a pizza and a taco. To our surprise (and delight), both dishes were absolutely delicious. The pizza had a perfectly crisp crust with rich, flavorful toppings that tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The taco, although not traditionally Italian, was packed with flavor and had a unique twist that made it stand out — clearly, the kitchen knows how to handle more than one cuisine. The vibe of the restaurant is one of its best features. It feels like a place where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy good food with friends or family. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there, which added to the overall positive experience. Another bonus: the prices were very reasonable. For the quality of food and service, it felt like a great value. We also noticed several large TVs around the restaurant, making it an ideal spot to catch a game. Whether you’re a sports fan looking for a fun place to watch with a cold drink or just someone in search of great food and a relaxed atmosphere, this place hits the mark.

We were thoroughly impressed with Red Ox Tavern! Despite arriving after 8 PM on a busy Friday, we were promptly seated at our preferred location. This establishment clearly has the capacity to handle a large crowd while offering the convenience of complimentary parking. The venue itself is well-maintained and visually appealing. The food was a mix of hits and misses, but the hits were huge: The fried pickle spears were exceptional! Boasting a perfect crunch, they rank among the finest I've ever had. My fiancé was also pleased with his Cowboy burger, leaving absolutely no leftovers. While the nachos were unfortunately unremarkable, the overall service and experience were top-notch. I highly recommend the Red Ox Tavern!

We were promptly seated at our preferred location on a Friday evening after 8pm, despite a sizable crowd already present. This establishment demonstrates its capacity to handle a substantial number of patrons while offering complimentary parking. The venue is well-maintained and visually appealing. We placed our orders for beverages and food, and the fried pickle spears were exceptional, boasting a perfect crunch, ranking among the finest I've had. Unfortunately, the nachos were unremarkable and not worthy of recommendation. The Cowboy burger, however, met my fiancé's expectations, leaving no leftovers. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with my visit and highly recommend the Red Ox Tavern.

I can just for appetizers and they did not disappoint. The potatoes skins were great, but the unexpected stat was the Buffalo Chicken dip. It had just enough spice and the cheese was creamy. It wasn't too meaty. I will be back.

Been here a couple times before as a dine In customer, tonight we got carry out. It's a Tuesday evening, place was very slow but it was about 1030pm. We got an app of burnt ends with garlic toast, a large pickle pizza without the pickles (my husband likes Alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce), salmon sliders, a side of waffle fry, and a bowl of chili. Everything was very good and prepared correctly, the whole order was correct and packaged well, it was about $80 including a $10 tip for me and my husband but we had a ton of leftovers!

I've been coming here for years and always love the food, drinks, and atmosphere. They’ve got an excellent tap selection, plus a pool table if you’re feeling playful. You can even grab lotto tickets, scratch-offs, and pull tabs while you’re here. I’ve also hosted a couple of company parties, and they always treat me and my team like family. Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere and excellent service. They have a pretty varied menu so there's definitely something for almost everyone. The food was great and prices not too bad, either. Also, they have 40 different kinds of craft beer on tap from all over Michigan. And really clean and we'll decided bathrooms, as well. I would definitely go back here and if you're reading this, you probably should check it out.
