Valentine’s Day. There are so many details to give attention to if you want to make the lady feel special. The choice of restaurant says as much about your taste as it does your opinion of her. You can make a great choice by making a reservation at this Houston staple. Service is top notch, there are valet and free parking options, the ambiance supreme (not overly loud), and the food was incredible. Every weekend, this restaurant is packed for a reason. The pristine white tablecloths await you and your date! The flowers that you see - those were a subtle, classy touch for Valentine’s Day that the restaurant placed on every table.

Went to Pappas Brothers with a group of colleagues, after a business meeting. The restaurant was very busy, we had reservations and waited about 15 minutes for our table, not surprisingly as there were 10 of us. The restaurant was fairly noisy, the only downside for the evening. We ordered drinks and a couple bottles of wine, the wine book was several pages thick, so we accepted assistance from the Sommelier. He helped us pick a couple bottles for the table that came very close to the wines we requested that were not on the menu. Both the red and white were very good. I had the Lobster bisque, the hands down best I have had. I struggled between the Sea-bass or the Ribeye and chose the Ribeye. It was excellent as expected and cooked exactly as requested. We ordered several desserts for the table, the caramel pecan pie is unbelievable, the other desserts were very good but didn’t stand out above other experiences. The wait staff and dining room attendants were friendly and well trained for an upscale restaurant.

Went here with some business associates during our trip to Houston. It's your typical elegant steak house format, but they execute precisely. Professionally clad wait staff at your beck and call -> very polite and efficient. Fancy sommelier with wine knowledge dating back to the Dark Ages. Ginormous high priced side dishes and everything a la carte. We had a party of 14 and the timing was terrific. Everyone agreed the food was AMAZING... really not one complaint. You can tell by my title what I thought of my lamb chops. They were thick and juicy with just the right char... I am getting hungry again just thinking about them. The Turtle desert was also to die for and I am not really a desert person. The lobster tails were HUGE. Of course all of this comes at a price, but I would not hesitate to go back and do it again.

Outstanding experience from start to finish! Papa’s Brothers Steakhouse absolutely lived up to the hype. The food was phenomenal perfectly cooked steaks, incredible flavor, and top-tier quality across the board. The bar service was truly superb and deserves special recognition. Becka and Sarah were AMAZING attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire evening that much better. Their service alone is reason enough to come back. If you’re looking for an exceptional steakhouse with impeccable service, this is a must-go. Highly recommend sitting at the bar and asking for Becka or Sarah—you won’t be disappointed.

Pappas Steakhouse is a classic done right. The staff is attentive and friendly. The elegant interior, and a well-designed layout. Beware the bread, it’s dangerously good and easy to fill up on. We started with the lobster deviled eggs, deconstructed with the filling served on the side with bacon. It was bold and indulgent. The cream of spinach side was amazing, and the 16oz prime ribeye was enjoyable, though the center had a slight odd flavor from the grill worth noting. Drinks like the Punta Sur Sunrise are strong and tequila-forward, and dessert, the PB Signature Gooey Pecan Pie, is sweet but balanced, with pecans served on the side rather than baked in. Overall, great service, beautiful ambiance, and food that mostly hits the mark

The Houston Pappas Bros. Steakhouse is one of my favorite steak restaurant on this planet. I have not had the privilege of being here in at least a decade, and I can tell you this with full confidence: it is still 100% worth the trip for a dining experience this memorable. I decide to go solo and hang out the bar and watch the college football championship while enjoying a culinary delight. I started with the gumbo lump crab bisque. Creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious, with just the right amount of bite to remind you you’re in Houston. The flavor hits immediately, and it sets the tone for what you know is about to be a serious meal. A perfect way to start the night. Then I decided to go all out and ordered an A5-grade Japanese Wagyu strip with Mitake mushrooms, served on a hot stone. Paired it with a big, meaty Cabernet, and it was flat-out amazing. The beef was unreal, perfectly cooked, and every bite reminded me why this place sits at the top of my list. When I pulled in, I noticed the sign said this restaurant is Michelin Recommended. Honestly, in my eyes that’s almost an insult. Michelin makes me think of “art food” the size of a peanut, with flowers stuck on it for some kind of star effect. If that’s what you’re hunting, go chase the star. Pappas Bros. serves real beef, real portions, and real flavor. No tiny plates. No guessing games. You don’t have to ask “Where’s the beef?” at Pappas Bros. To finish the night off, I decided to go for dessert and ordered the “Turtle” Mousse Tart: chocolate cookie crumble, salted caramel, dark and vanilla chocolate, and toasted Texas pecans. It was the perfect ending, rich and balanced, sweet without being over the top. I paired it with a 1985 Kopke Colheita, and that combination was next-level. Smooth, deep, and unforgettable, the kind of finish that makes you sit back and just appreciate how perfect the whole experience was. I can’t wait to go back. I hope next time is does not take so long. Thank you, Sara for making my night special. If you made it this far, tap a like, and take a moment to explore my other reviews from around the world.

I am never disappointed with Pappas Bros. It was my wife's 50th birthday dinner and nothing was subpar. James, our server was the absolute best ! Personable, attentive, warm and welcoming l, with an extremely high attention to detail. My tomahawk was cooked to perfection and the crab bisque was amazing. Creamed Spinach and au gratin potatoes are the best ive ever had (again) . The lobseter deviled eggs are always a must !!This is always my go to spot for a special occasion or a treat.

Five stars, no hesitation. I had the dry-aged ribeye and it was easily one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. What really set this place apart though was the service, attentive without being overbearing and genuinely focused on making sure everything was right. If you’re picky about your steak and appreciate exceptional service, this place is a no-brainer.
