Great people!!! We were camping at Old Mill State park and ran out of food. Came in looking for a quick bite to eat and the kitchen was suppose to be closed but they still served us. It was greatly appreciated because they were the only place open at the time. Excellent staff extremely nice people that go there to eat. The owner was such a nice guy and opened his kitchen for us. Will defiantly go back there to eat again sometime.
This was a spur of the moment stop on the road north for dinner. So glad I did. The food was awesome, as was the price. The bartender (Jana? Janna?) was the absolute sweetest thing! She's a rock star there for sure. What a great place to visit. I hope I can make my way back to Argyle someday!
We had a great Friday night supper. Filet Mignon and Blackened Walleye were absolutely perfect. Salad was fresh. Service was great. Owner Gary checked on us and our meal. I highly recommend. It's worth the drive everytime.
Very pleased with the whole experience. From the atmosphere when we walk in, to the waitress who was attentive, cheerful & pleasant.. I had the Salmon dinner & it did not disapooint As this was a suggestion from Sam Miller, it was a Great choice for dinner.
This place is one of my all time favorites! I come here every chance I get. I also love to start with the little bread basket and my favorite the liver patte. Pretty much anything you eat here will be amazing from the chicken, to burgers, to fish, it is all great. We also need to mention that the service is always great and everyone is so friendly. This is a place I will continue to come back to over and over.
Service was great and super friendly. Food was great too and the prices were good. We went for our anniversary dinner and were casually, but nicely dressed, we were overdressed. it's definitely casual dining. There are three areas - the dining are with a bar, a separate dining area and a banquet room. Family kind of place as well. We will definitely go back.
I usually only go here when I am visiting family, but if I could come more often I would. The food is always great, especially the steak and burgers. It is cheap for the quality of the food and the overall experience. The customer service is awesome, and the staff makes you feel at home. I have been here dozens of times and I have not had a bad experience at your restaurant.
Unfortunately, I only get to eat here every few years. I have relatives that live in the area but only get to see them during major holidays or family events (weddings, funerals, etc.). This place never disappoints when I finally get the opportunity to eat here. The food is extremely top tier for a small town restaurant and the staff are always so welcoming, friendly, and take pride in the work they do. I really wished I lived closer so I could eat here more often, especially the French Onion soup.
