They have never messed up my order, not once. I cannot say that about any other restaurant. This is my favorite Japanese restaurant I have ever been to. I have been hoping for a long time they would open back up for done in services. I miss their hot tea. (I'm not going to get that on the go) They have the best house salad ginger dressing. My favorites are the AAC roll, the pink lady roll, the Philadelphia roll, the sexy jalapeno, the yaki udon, the hibachi salmon, the miso soup and of course the house salad. 11/10
Usually order the hibachi and it's "ok". Have been ordering different lately and it's much better. The General tso chicken is really good and so is any Udon noodle dish. The Sushi is below average, but it's the only sushi I know of in Defiance.
I have went to this establishment several times, it is by far my favorite place to go within 50 miles of where I live. (It's only 20 minutes away from me, but I'm making a point to how often and how much I choose to go.) I go for the sushi, it's usually the only thing I order besides their fried rice and their ginger dressing salad. By the way, I love their fried rice, it's so flavorful. The salad is unlike anything else around, of course being Japanese style, but I've never heard someone say they didn't like it. If I dine in, I usually overhear someone else talking about the ginger dressing and how it tastes so good. I've tried some salmon rolls, salmon and tuna sashimi, and their salmon nigiri. (Sorry, salmon overload.. but it's my favorite hands down.) My favorite dish so far is the nigiri, which I'm attaching a picture of. The sauce is perfect for salmon, and you don't need a lot. I always leave satisfied, and when I arrive and when I drive away.. I am reminded by seeing their small gardens outside the restaurant where they grow vegetables and herbs. That's not a big deal to some people, but to me it means so much that they do it and really makes me appreciate their efforts so much.
Everything was great! The dinning area was very clean. The staff was nice and the sushi was sublime.
Possibly the absolute best restaurant ever!!! They no longer do dine-in, but that doesn't stop them from making the tastiest food in the world. The food is ALWAYS consistently delicious and hot. I drive 20 minutes home with it, and their packaging keep it HOT the whole way up until I open it. The lady who takes my order always, always always gets it right the first time. The crab rangoon is my favorite and the best I've ever had!!!
