Everything here is delicious. I usually call ahead to order and pick up 15 min later. Large free parking lot. Located inside the Korean supermarket. The bowls are very large and the sushi rolls come with miso soup. Closed on Sundays.
Love Jo&Go Sushi. They saved me when we first moved to LA and while the house was being remodeled. 4 years later... it's still as good as first discovered. It's a neighborhood gem inside the Korean Greenland Mrkt, which btw, is also awesome. Must try is the salmon bowl, the salmon slices are so tender and buttery... they give you a crazy amount of salmon over the rice and seriously it's enough to have a 2nd meal! One note about the bowl... I'm not a fan of drenching really good cooked rice with sauce, so I always order without the sauce. The rice is not sushi rice which makes it even more delicious... the rice is always perfectly cooked. You get a miso soup and a cute little container of pickled radish (delish). I would love to know where they source the fish... it's like being in Japan, it's so fresh. I'll be catering with them soon and happy to update the review post order. The kind woman who takes the order is so sweet and cute, always smiling...says hi and bye all the time. If you're in the area, definitely give it a try for takeaway.
The food is AMAZING. I do feel a bit cheated out of the overall experience. The joint is inside the supermarket and they don’t have a seating area. Something the previous reviews neglected to mention. For a $100+ order and two have to take it to go, it’s definitely not what I expected. We did a picnic nearby to adjust. The food is a culinary trip. I highly recommend them. It is by far one of the best sushi joints in the San Fernando Valley.
Good freshly made sushi. We got free miso soups, one for each roll.
The best sushi you can get at such an affordable price. Excellent service every single time - the owner is so so sweet. My favorite lunch spot. I love this place with my whole heart.
This is the most delicious sushi I've ever eaten. Thank you for being there. The sushi is very tasty and one serving is enough to fill you up. A large piece of fish in the sushi, they don't skimp on the filling. Very tasty. Thank you! We are delighted. The price-quality ratio is perfect!
My new spot for chicken cutlet (katsudon), a little sweeter than the other ones I've had but I really don't mind.....Will try their sushi next time. Ranges from $11-13
I have been coming to this spot since 2014 when I moved into the area. Not only is it affordable, but it’s usually ready in 15 minutes and it’s the freshest… tastiest… yummiest rolls. My go tos are Hawaiian, hot night And salmon roll. But I’ve had other things including the udon…. Too good not to share the 411.
