Visited this place first time and it was great experience! Food was delicious, and service was outstanding! Place is very nice for family and friends. Also this place will be good for special occasions. People are nice and friendly. Food was fresh and delicious. Prices are higher than other sushi restaurants.

(Note: I write these reviews in part for my own nationwide-USA only-business clients, for travel and activity inspiration. Follow me for more! I’m a financial planner - CFP®practitioner - with a focus on retirement wealth strategies, primarily serving business women and LGBTQ individuals. #VirtualPlanningCraftedWithCare®) My hubby was looking for some sushi and we stopped in here because we’ve driven by several times and it’s always packed. Overall, we liked it. There are a few pros and cons… First, it’s a large place and great service. We didn’t wait to be seated and got greeted by our server immediately. I did did find the establishment a bit difficult to navigate if you have any issues with mobility. Not super friendly for seniors, wheelchairs, etc. it was also really cold in this restaurant. I had to eat with my hoodie on. It’s also packed in pretty tightly so it’s on the loud side and you can hear everyone’s conversations. Not great for a quiet dinner. The food was spot on! It was all fresh and tasty. Had plenty of variety. There’s a big drink menu that others seem to love. I don’t drink alcohol so this didn’t help me much. And unfortunately the water they served tasted like chlorine, even the ice, so that tainted the meal for me. All things considered, I found it a bit pricey for what I value, but I could see others loved this kind of place. Glad I went and I might come again.

My daughter and I had dinner at this wonderful restaurant in the small beautiful town of Sturbridge. Since the minute we walked in, to the instant that we left, we were treated in a courteus manner. Food was excelent, the Pear Martini was strong but extremely good. It has become one of my favorites in Sturbridge. Our only small complaint is that it took for ever for dessert to come to our table but I have to say that restaurant was very busy.

We ordered a spicy tuna roll, dragon roll, seaweed salad, gyoza, and walnut shrimp. For dessert we had coconut friend ice cream. Everything we ordered was delicious. It was busy and we still got quick service. I love the food and atmosphere. Also the spicy guava martini is delicious.

It's clean and nice inside but can get loud. It seems they may have rearranged tables(?) because it doesn't feel as crowded at it once was. This is hands down our favorite sushi place, the ingredients and taste can't be beat. It's rare that we've felt the service was lacking, the staff is usually terrific. I wish they still took reservations but we'll definitely keep taking our chances on getting a table right away, to us it's well worth it!! The parking lot is a bit small but there is additional parking across the street. We highly recommend the Red Sox Roll, it's amazing and we get it every time we visit.

I was skeptical about the little american town's Japanese food but was pleasantly surprised that food was really good and authentic, the waiter nice, and the decorations pleasant! I especially loved the gyoza and the fried soba.

Absolutely the best sushi! Always fresh and presented so beautifully. Our server Grace was pleasant and very attentive. The fried ice cream was yummy, too. We enjoyed our ladies' night out and will be back soon.
