Really like the flavor combinations of the mango one and the red dragon. Just wish they put the sauce throughout the pocket instead just at the bottom. One is pretty filling. The build-your-own 2 protein doesn't say, but it comes with crab meat. Husband likes the Osaka fries because they remind him of okonomiyaki (sauce and benito flakes). Everything travels well if you order it to go.
I enjoyed the “trio”. Had fresh salmon and tuna, with tempura. I was a bit disappointed at the size of the roll compared to the price, but the quality was fine. This was $18.50 with tip. They made the order super fast, within 2 minutes of ordering. I would come back to try others.
Super delicious, fresh ingredients, friendly staff. And it is reasonably priced!!!!! Highly highly recommend this quick eats eatery. All of the sides are $3.50 or less. Satisfies a sushi craving. I could eat this every day and almost have. They have both raw fish and cooked options. Their sushi rice is on point and everything is fresh and yummy. Great for lunch AND dinner. I am obsessed with this place
Family got trio and the lion king, and i got the Dragon. It was not salty which is nice since unagi is sometimes salty at other restaurants. There is this sesame seed rice covering that looks like you would want to take it off but you shouldn't. You can eat it! Overall, it's basically a big and packed sushi burrito with flavorful ingredients. My dad loves this place and I can see why.
I am a regular at this place. I think they have such a unique twist to sushi. Service is always amazing as well. My go to is the spam and egg! I will be coming back often.
We occasionally come to the area to do cake deliveries. Recently we came into Pocket Sushi for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised by the quick preparation of our order. The sushi was so good that we made sure to stop in again a couple weeks later. We will definitely have it as one of our favorite stops from now on!
I have been here twice so far, someone recommended this place to me and I really enjoyed the taste, freshness and tenderness of the food! It’s a must go!! I don’t live/work in Pleasanton, but I will definitely be back whenever I’m in the area! Tried both Red dragon and mango burrito, both super delicious!! If it wasn’t a work day I would go for two burritos!!
I really love their less rice option! I will get their yummy pocket sushi but less guilty about the rice! Red dragon was fantastic. Just enough kick for me. My kids got the California roll and they loved it as well. Place is pretty cute and staff was friendly.
