Sushi Sho (The Colony)

My boyfriend and I recently ordered takeout from here. We were impressed with both the convenience and the quality of the sushi. The online ordering process was smooth and easy to navigate, and our order was ready for pickup right on time. As for the food, everything was fresh, flavorful, and nicely packaged. The fish was fresh, and the rolls were expertly made. The fried rice was delicious, with great flavor and seasoning. We appreciated how the restaurant took the time to ensure everything was neatly packed, which is always a nice touch with takeout. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed before we left, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience. If you're looking for high-quality sushi that's easy to enjoy at home, I highly recommend Shushi Sho. We'll definitely be ordering from them again for our next sushi craving!

We walked from La Quinta after seeing the good reviews and it didn’t not disappoint!! Tim the owner was friendly and kind. The sushi was some of the best we have had. The no rice Plano roll with Wasabi sauce was delicious. The UG crunch roll was huge and filling!! Loved the complimentary miso soup and also that the tip suggestions prompts at the end of the check out were reasonable for a walk up and order place. I was happy to leave 20% and support this small business owner. 10/10 recommend this place!!

really liked this sushi spot. The packaging was super clean, which I appreciated, and everything looked fresh right when I opened it. The sushi itself was really good — fresh, tasty, and good portions. The service was also quick and friendly. Overall, a solid experience. I’d definitely order again.

The best sushi in town! We are very picky about sushi places and we really loved the place. The staff is very welcoming and courteous, the food is phenomenal. We got miso soup on the house, 20% off on selected rolls, some beef pot stickers, everything was yum.

My family & I recently discovered this local spot for sushi! Cozy cute atmosphere w/ bench seating (and did I mention local!), we really liked it! The sushi was great, we ordered the Big Papa, Volcano, U.G. Crunch, Stuffed Soft Shell Crab, Las Vegas, Hungry, & Jr, all very tasty & flavorful! - & great portions for the prices! Quick and friendly service as well. We will definitely be back!

We've known Tim for 18 years and his food, service and just his great personality have kept us coming back to his restaurants. We dined in yesterday and the sushi, as expected, was amazing. He is genuinely one of the nicest people I've ever known and good skills as a chef are incredible. Highly recommended. Ignore that the pictures of our sushi were already partly eaten as we were too anxious to wait.

One of my favorite sushi spots. The taste is always on point. I love to dine in when I can, but it isn’t always an option for me. When I order take out- i’m still impressed with how everything looks and tastes!
